Dior Homme - posting requires reading thread rules!

I just posted this on MSN, but there's another Argentinian eBay seller (probably the same guy under a different name) selling new and different Christian Dior Monsieur items under Dior Homme. These auctions will probably trick even more people than before. So many people have bought his suits, he's actually raised the starting bid on those, may he burn in hell. Trymergie is his new 2nd ID. Report him, send him annoying messages...whatever. :p I promise you if people don't f*ck with him as much as possible, he will completely overrun DH auctions in the future and it will turn into Prada.

^Yes, some nasty, old, buffed up AMK follower. And btw, it's fake. If you look at the tags it says "only four Japan" for the garment care instructions for Japan (Incidentally, another seller used the "Only for Japan" on the garment care label to market it as an exclusive, "only available in Japan" piece ). And weren't the "The End" tees made in Italy? Because the one's I've seen were, this one is made in Turkey.

No... it may not be fake. I've got a lot of DH tees that have "only four Japan" on them with the blatant misspelling and they were purchased at the DH store in NY or from other reputable locations including eluxury.

The End tees were made in Turkey, the tank top pima cottom ones were Italian I believe.

No matter what though... I don't want to see some dude's overly muscular body stretching the whole tee out. Not to mention seeing the top part of his pubes:yuk:  Just show the shirt, sans dude!

Really? That's pretty funny! Well, the ones I saw on Diabro were made in Italy so maybe they go both ways (or maybe the ones I saw were the Pima cotton ones).

I looked at all his other auctions, he sure likes to expose himself...and I really DON'T want to see his pubes flying about. I saw another one were he had pulled the jeans he was selling low so you could see his butt crack. Ugh! :yuk:

I'm not sure how I feel about Kanye in that jacket. I agree with Alex that the pic of him on stage looks better. I mean, he's adapted it to fit his own style (although that jacket is very Kanye to me) and the only offense (I use it more in a mocking way) is that his jeans are not tight and his shirt is not slim, but why should everyone who wears Dior try to copy the look? I think it's more important for someone to appropriate fashion pieces into their own style rather than copy what they see on the runway (although the runway is good for inspiration)

I've learned to appreciate everyones own personal style. I'm probably also the minority here, but I think Kanye wouldn't look out of place in the various suits from the A/W show (See: Diamond's From Sierra Leone video if you don't believe he could pull off the suited looks). It seems many people here tend to think you have to look like a gaunt rocker in order for Dior Homme to work for you.

Agreed with every single word in this post. I prefer Kanye wearing his take on the jacket rather than some random rocker ripping off the runway look, any day of the week. I used to be pretty close minded too in terms of how people should wear certain brands, but right now, being able to carry something with your own personal vision and confidence is much better to me than simply going with the designer's intention.

^Agreed.

Changing topic a bit, sorry :flower:

Safilo is replacing my DH sunglasses that have a few defects (bought them cheap at an outlet). They'll give me a pretty large discount on any DH eyewear.

Anyone know where I can find DH eyeglasses? I've looked everywhere, I've found models that I love, but all the sites have the same ones...I want to see all my choices.

Can anyone help?

Thx :flower:

Yeah, that's the hot thing to do now. It seems like a bunch of sellers jumped on the t-shirt exclusivity bandwagon all the sudden. And I can tell you off the top of my head that my chalkstripe tee says "only four japan," so I see no reason to guess that his is fake. If anything, fakes will be in bigger, more "normal" sizes (*cough* suspicious new Italian seller *cough* :innocent:), not XS.

Got my VOTC sleeveless turtleneck prototype today. Easily one of the best-quality DH items I've owned. The wool is super nice (makes the elbow patch sweater look kinda sh*tty in comparison), and the zippered leather epaulettes are SO nice. The leather is butter.

post pics when you can, please! I'd love to see! :woot:

Anyone know anything about the eyewear?

my The End tee is made in Italy, it is the grey one though which is more expensive than any other colour and looks and feels much better than the other colours which i suspect are the made in turkey ones..

and about KW, a great artist and a great sense of style, always looked good in LV,Gucci YSL, and now Dior, mixed up with sneakers and a urban edge. I wouldnt do it up like that, but it works for him. I definitely mix and match even though i could wear DH from head to toe, i'll throw in some other labels to add my touch and not look like a runway clone..

i have the destroyed jeans and no they do not come short like that. diors jeans will always be the same long length. it wouldnt make sense to produce them short like the runway.

wow that's cool... dude how's the fitting? buy true to size? I wanna have a litttle allowance at the crouch area not too tight. How's the leg? tight? if
possible can pm me a pic of u wearing it? am really interested as i am a distressed fan and now dh have come out with a pair of trashed jeans :D

EdK, did you purchase your destroyed jeans at NY's DH boutique? If so, for how much? I didn't have a chance to pass by there since last year...

(I know this have been discussed before but...,) I've been wearing the waxed jeans for a couple months and the crotch area has started to worn out and holes are becoming very visible which I predicted in the beginning, but is there a way to prevent it from further damage other then not wearing it too often? For some reason, the black waxed jeans are fine but not the blue ones...

KW is a worthless jock.
it was the BRIT awards for christ sake...
f-off with this 'boo hoo hoo...im glad to see it on some one whos not a skinny rocker' mom jazz.
it reeked of effort.
wearing a triple extra large sean john velour suit and stabing young buck at the BET awards would have been less obvious.
this is KW's gimmik...wearing marc jacob's vans...
pretending he listens to system of a down and knows about politics.
great. good work. yourre down man.
THE SOURCE gives it 0 out of 5 mics.
