Eluxury has more stock in. The only thing I think is cool is the "safari" blazer. The whiskered jeans look SOOOOOOOOOO sh*tty. Even worse than last season, and that was laughable. And these cost MORE.

Does that blazer have epaulettes or is it just me ?

Man, $900 for a nylon bomber jacket? What a joke. Not only that, but those jeans are cheap looking. What a disappointment.

And yes, the blazer has epaulettes... On one hand I think the blazer looks cool, but... too thematic for formal use, imo.

It would look like something is missing if the blazer didn't have epaulettes...

Yeah, the bomber's definitely a joke.

I think the blazer is the one S/S 06 item I would consider purchasing on sale. I would wear it constantly; I'd be wearing it today, actually. Hopefully items like this are still great quality and slim cut this season.

"Bourgeois" is a very pejorative term (at least in France), if you want to say something positive the use of "Aristocratic" is usually the way to go. For that matter Dior used to be Aristocratic and became Bourgeois as of late :innocent:

Dior as a couture house is definitely bourgeois though....

Becuase I'm such a Dior tool. ;]
This was actually the only ad I liked from the campaign.
And...nevermind the IM convo, my friend is a kook.

While the topic of the metallic sneakers is still fresh in my mind, how is the leather producing this kind of look? Is it deeply ingrained like the helmut lang metallic leather of a few seasons back, or just a quick & dirty application? Any insights from the experienced?

the safari blazer is nice, only item i liked since i saw what was out so far in new york.

And what's up with even the whiskered jeans being produced in Italy now?

oh lord - things just get cheesier.

and

3... 2... 1... Intellectual Property Law Suit from LVMH. I can just taste it...

got the dh's in... they're looser than levis

This is a size 28 in dior homme, the 21cm version.

Is this a correct fit? I'm pretty let down, I thought even the 21cm would have been tight. Should I just return them?

If I were you I would return them. In my opinion they are way too baggy!
But I don't know how you want them.

I wear 29", and only 19 cm hem, and I think they are too baggy. I should wear 28" I guess, but the thing is that I don't think 19 cm hem is tight enough. I always end up with my sewing machine and making them tighter...

They definately need taking up a bit.
The odd thing is that the thigh looks way too baggy for the DH fit.

I think the jeans look good.........but I agree that they don't look very DH, if that's what you're going for

#1667 - Uhm, just wondering... don't you have a real mirror, since you're standing on the tub, taking a pic in the bathroom mirror? ^_^

Anyway, I actually had a semi-serious question that I'm gonna ask you guys before I forget:

I have the black canvas high-top sneakers, and they're pretty dirty. I usually just wipe them with a rag soaked in hot water, but it's not enough anymore. They need some serious cleansing. Is it okay to soak them, or will it misshape the canvas? What about dry-cleaning, will it remove dirt?
