berlin again

thanks all for getting back to me.
i am now staying in the swissotel so hopefully near to the places mentioned (i'll buy a guidebook tomorrow). can anyone tell me some decent bars/clubs to go (where i can wear my new DH purchases), bearing in mind that my friends and me are english indie boys?
thanks guys

I remember seeing Kate wearing that leather cape not too long ago and thinking "what the f**k is she wearing??" I guess now that I know that it's DH it's more appealing...totally joking. It even looks like hot trash on the model.

hot B)

My friend in Paris who works at LVMH is going to try and get me Hedi's signature :woot:

Well first we're planning on getting her to heterosexualize him, marry him and then make him produce good collections again. B)

no, actually,I have to go to Paris to get the discounts from the stores where she knows the people. So that won't happen for a while, but I might go to Spain next summer..

 ^_^ not a bad idea

And... thanks to everyone for the kind feedback about the outfit I posted for Albert earlier. I wasn't quite sure whether or not it was over-the-top. It's good to hear other people like it.

SS06 is much slimmer than last year's collections. I tried on the cropped red checker jacket in size 44 and couldn't even get my arms through the armholes.
The Sgt Pepper baseball jacket is actually very nice in person, mostly because of the perfect, slim cut. Nothing at all like the huge jackets from last season. It also comes in a black/white version which I personally like quite a bit.
There were some nice leather jackets as well. They even had one totally in red.
The suits/jackets are really nice and look very cool with suspenders. I bought myself a necktie, suspenders and the barebacked waistcoat. Might upload some pictures later.

Most disappointing so far are the accessories. I've always adored the belts, pins, wristbands and so on but there really ain't much to be thrilled about this season. Especially the silk belts look really cheap, you could probably make a nicer one by yourself. The neckties are really nice though. Comparing 2,8cm ties introduced this season with the regular ones, they look enormous.

i've moved up my trip to paris for March (spring break)
should be purchasing my ticket this comming week.
was wondering on the suits, price range?
that's what i want to buy a suit, and probably if i can find
some stuff from the earlier season, but the main point in the shopping
is to get me a nice DH suit.
any InFo?

The black leather jacket on the right from follow me did once pop up on ebay.. The guy who was selling was actually from the buyer of Bagutta NYC. He was asking if I remember correctly $4500. Which is reasonable... consider this is really the only one I have seen.

I have the cotton version in black color and beige.. (yep two same jacket just different color)

The jacket on the left I have never seen it pop up on ebay. Jeffrey had it at a discount which ran around $2000. I was sooooooooo tempted to buy it... BUT, the jacket is more puffed, yeah.. it is not real leather.. and seems to have something that does inflate for the lining, so when I wore it.. it looked like I was a snowman rather then the guy in the runway look.. you know.. the skinny grunge look.. oh well.. back to basics.. I am still on the hunt for past season leather jacket....

Willing to let go one of em:rolleyes:

Leave monogrammed carryalls to the nouveau riche. Instead, travel like a rock legend with these high-glam trunks, the latest offerings from the Dior Homme juggernaut. Bringing to mind Bowie, circa Ziggy Stardust, arriving at Heathrow, the three-piece set consists of a jewelry chest (not shown), wardrobe trunk and guitar case (compatible with a Fender Stratocaster) in either a coated canvas or gold calfskin outer surface (to match your Dior ankle boots)—and the option of a crimson velvet or houndstooth lining. Plus, all the trimmings are plush to the hilt—even the locks are gold-plated. Of course, extravagance comes at a price; the luxe luggage must be ordered four months in advance and will set you back an amount too glam to print here. But then, the envious stares at baggage claim are priceless. -Suleman Anaya

I don't even wanna know how much the guitar case costs...You know you've got a problem if your guitar case costs more than the actual guitar. Hell, I'd rather buy myself an original Gibson Les Paul 56 goldtop instead of this!
