Does This Work? Get Fashion Feedback Here.

Thank you all for the lovely comments!!
Stylebites : forget the white top on the pic, it doesn't belong to the oufit, i just had to wear something to not be naked  of course i'll pair it with something non white, but the shoes i like. ^_^ Thank you again! :flower:

^^ Tres chic. Ooh la la :woot: A favorite combo of mine!

Midori - not something I could pull off in a million more years, but the look is really cute on you!

I would like to hear your honest opinions about this. I'm worried it looks like hmm well.. hooker style.. What do you think? I'm thinking about changing the white short to knee length white skirt to make it modest..
Help!! Thanks!!! ^_^

I think shorts ans shoes fit perfectly! It looks great!

Midori, I think the outfit looks great on you but I think it would look even better with a different pair of shorts - like a grey pair with folds (like Johnson shorts). I think that way the look would look more put together and finished. I just feel like the shorts don't go so well with the outfit (they are a bit too casual and to light in my opinion). But you look amazing otherwise - love the combo of the tights and shoes! :)

I'm new to this thread and may be my question doesn't belong here but still;)
I am going to a wedding party and this is what I have: A blue thin knitted dress (strappy), yellow shoes (high heels) and what I'm worry about is nail colour:cry: What do you think is appropriate here??? I'm confused....

I recently purchased a dress from Anthropologie. I loved it when I tried it on, but they didn't have my size so I settled for a slightly bigger size. Now I'm not sure if I look like I'm drowning in it, or if it looks good kind of baggy. I have a very slight frame so I don't want to look silly, like a kid dressing up in grandma's closet. Thoughts?

I would appreciate honest opinions - sorry the pictures aren't of good quality.

Bambam ~ i think it doesn't look lil kid in granny's clothes. Though the top part looks lil too loose but not in a bad way and the bottom is absolutely fine.
Thanks for the comment anyway! :flower:

delerith ~ i would go with pale on the toes, those gorgeous shoes are enough. :flower:

Bambam - is the tie attached to the dress? And is the dress sewn in at the waist or can you control where it cinches? I ask because I think a wider belt would help with the blousiness that makes it look a little big. I'm thinking a wide one at your natural waistline. You could also top it with a shrunken blazer or vest that would add some structure ;)

Delerith - agree w/ Midori.. definitely pale toes :flower:

bambam- i think the dress is rather large but it's not my style anyway, so i'm kind of biased.

delerith- gorgeous shoes and dress  i agree a pale color would look lovely, anything else might be distracting.

Thanks to everybody:heart:! I just checked the thread and found what you've suggested! But......yesterday I rushed into the shop right before the closing time and bought:shock:: Red! Orly's "Haute Red". I was gripped with the idea of plain colors (inspired by some shooting in US Vogue, models were artists in studio with paints and brushes), so I imagine three colors: yellow, blue and red. I like the color itself very much, hope I can pull the whole thing together:lol:. Anyway thank you for replying:flower:. I'll post photo with nail polish later.

You guys i need your help. Going to this party at my work tonight, and the thing is that i was dating a guy from work and he dumbed me last week, so i want to look freaking great tonight.

So is this outfit good enough:

fashionista - you look very nice. but i would maybe try one of your slightly strappier sandals.

Also, i think you look hot in your shorts outfits . . . but maybe you don't think its appropriate for work?

anyway, you are stunning, he is a chump - just have a good time!

bambam - i think you look gorgeous . . .love that dress

Hi Bambam, I think your dress looks very nice on you! Go for it!

Help! What do you think of this coat?

Hi, I bought this coat yesterday and was wondering what you think of it.
I really like it, however my parents think its too classic and I should find something younger and more appropriate for my age. They also say its ill-fitting at the back. I realise the sleeves are too long and these can be easily shortened. I need a good Winter coat for my first trip to Europe next Winter...and this is what I've come up with.

I would really appreciate honest opinions! :flower: Thanks!

(I didn't know which thread to post this in, so I made a new one.)

Well.. i prefer coats that shows waist line but there is nothing bad with this either except the back. You should bring it to a tailor so it would suit you better. Also a scarf is necessary in my opinion. :flower:

It looks a little "boxy" from the back.
I think you should get it tailored or exchange it for a size smaller.

It's a bit shapeless, it does nothing for your figure. The collar is all wrong. I'd take it back and choose something more tailored. If you are travelling to Paris and can wait, there you will find GREAT coats in all prices!

Thanks for your honest opinions guys! I think I might return it and find something else...I'm a bit disappointed, but its better to realise it now than later.

Midori, I have lots of scarves! :D Thanks for the tip.
Thanks La Bordelique! I tried the smaller size, it is much the same.
Shadow, I will be heading to Paris, but I will be in London first...I think its better to be prepared, and take a coat with me - because I have no warm clothes! We never get such cold weather in Australia! I wouldn't object to buying another coat in Paris though! :D

It's a lovely coat, Little Star, a great basic and looks really comfy and warm. But I agree with everyone else, it makes you look shapeless. Get it tailored.
