Does This Work? Get Fashion Feedback Here.

: )

i think that outfit will be just right, but im not sure about the silver belt.. really need to see the individual pieces. however i definitely think white pant with black shoes is fine

As long as you :D (SMILE and shoulders back!!!) almost anything looks great.

It sounds like a nice outfit to me. So much depends on the overall shapes, textures, draping of a "look" so it's impossible to comment on an exact outfit without seeing it on the body.

Maybe try adding a touch of color through an accessory? A bracelet perhaps?

Slouchy dress.....

I love slouchy stuff, so I bought this dress....I purposely got it slightly bigger than needed so it would look slouchier..

What do you guys think?

i think the fabric is too stiff to be 'slouchy'...
maybe you should try washing it to soften it up?...

:flower:...

i might also try a heavier wide lthr belt to make it 'bouson' more...

^I agree with Softie.

THe sizing is right for the slouchiness but the material does look a little stiff - probably will soften up with continuous wear though!

Yeah, it's linen and never been washed, so it's still fairly "sturdy". :)

Tangiblelove: I got it from Laredoute :) Only $25, so I figured, what the heck!

I think that from the front, it makes your torso look wide in an unflattering way. Maybe because the material is so stiff? I also think a belt like softgrey suggested would break up the blockyness - I'd also wash it a bunch of times to try to soften it up. Not sure if that will work though, worth a try if you are set on keeping it.

I agree with Erin and snickerdoodles. Slouchy is a great term for a leather handbag or a pair of trousers but not for a dress, it translates as shapeless:flower:
It looks like you have a great figure but this totally hides it. Is this some sort of oversized shirt? the reason I ask this is because of the slits on the sides. In order to make this more flattering I would size down at least 1 or just return and find something more flattering:flower:

I can see it working on thin people but I don't think the dress you have on would be the right material/cut. I think it would have to have some rouching (is this what I mean?) or something to give it more of a slouchy feeling.

Now that I think of it I'll try and stay on the look out for some cheap one in black ;)

I must be batty, lol :D , but for some reason, I just don't mind the shapelessness of it; It's probably what I like about it. *Shrugs*

Thank you for the honest opinions though! :)

I'll definitely have to wash it to get it softer (like it does on the model on the site), and I'll experiment with belts too to break it up a little

Hi :) Unfortunately, I think it makes you look really thick in the middle and does nothing for your body. You are set on wearing it though, huh?

I just bought me these high waisted pants but I don't know what I should match it with. I think that this short sleeved shirt is the best suggestion. But I just think that this is a bit boring. Any suggestions to this outfit?

that shirt actually doesn't really work for me with those pants. I would choose something slimmer on top to balance the wide leg and short crop of the pants. The puffed sleeve of the top you are wearing just doesn't strike the right balance.

Actually I really like that shirt with those pants. I think a really bright colored clutch or something quite fun in terms of accessories might give it that kick you are looking for, but the outfit as it is seems quite sweet

Something like this, sorry for the sh*tty paint job.

I will definitely try that. Here with a tight top.
