Here are some example of what I am talking about:

They also have python-trimming on lots of thier other clothes.

Personally, I love the black-and-white trench, but what do you guys think of this? Is it overdone? Is it just right? Is it tacky or do you like it?

I say no to that last look, but I do like the purse.

erhhhmm in all honesty i find this totally tacky ...

Yep, the only tackier thing, would be to see Victoria Beckham in it........ ;)
Oh, she was, last week, shopping!!!!! I mean, what a shopping outfit :D

I agree . . . the whole python look by dolce and gabbana is just tacky overkill . . . pun unintended

God that is ulgy.
No offense D&G, you know you guys are adorable but ECH!!!

It's too bold and tacky for my taste. Quite garish and gaudy in a way.

i really like the skirt posted, but not the rest, i have to say....
on the other hand, the shoes look really divine, especially the python pumps with bows, even though they are ultra high and expensive!

Python can be done well, and some of the pieces they did have potential to work well without being tacky....but the way they styled it is very, very gaudy.

TACKY TACKY TACKY TACKY! :yuk:

I'm not kidding, that first outfit for me, is the worst designer outfit (in my mind, again) that I have ever seen.

They could have made it nice but it looks tacky some of its nice though even though you cant wear any of it

but thats dolce & gabbana;)

the pieces themselves are nice, the way it is styled is overdone...but it is runway...

I think the 4th look is ok, not overdone, but the rest are too gaudy for my taste. I  the chunky bracelets though.

In all honesty- I still can't bring myself to dislike the first outfit! The others still seem trashy to me (uck- that model is just hanging out of the shirt)

I do understand what you guys are saying, though. I think the reason I like these outfits is because they look good on the runways that usually are overdone and exagerrated. I know that these could never be pulled off by the average person (like me), just hopping about town. Maybe they would look good on celebrities, who seem to get away with many fashion crisises. But then again, maybe not.

When I saw the title of this thread I thought it was going to be about D&G sending their models down the catwalk in all manner of silly walks...imagine my disappointment.

This really looks bad. I've never been a big fan of python, but using it in these proportions is just sick.
