Dolce & Gabbana Cosmetics : Scarlett Johansson by Sølve Sundsbø

i wish Scarlett would leave modeling to the professionals.

Yes, me too. Actually I wish Scarlett would live most of her professions to professionals.

Finally I can say I'm starting to like this. David adds more edge and appeal.
Scarlett looked lifeless and stiff by herself.

It is so kitsch.

Every single frame of it. Imitating Marilyn and Jean Harlow to this level looks extremely camp. What is the justification here: that she is playing a character? Give me a break. For me, nothing works here: not the leopard sheet, the make-up colors, the over-blown and sprayed to a stiff hair, and David's presence (or any other male's sniffing this blond blow-up doll of a woman here) adds another layer of tackiness to a campaign that is already suffocating in it.

i agree with pasha only about the backdrop.

The dryness of this campaign is not just Scarlet - it is the stylist. He/she seems to be totally hung up on one style of pose; and I agree the visual elevation of Scarlett to be the reincarnation of Marilyn is a bit much.

I like it!!!!!!!!
Even though she looks much older than she is...
