Don't waste your money on...

Do'h! Which one, because I'm actually considering buying the vitalumiere (spelling?) one:shock:

Vitalumiere is very lovely and moisturising, with just the right balance of coverage to "natural" look. The Double Perfection cream to powder Chanel foundation is not advisable for dry skin, but it looked lovely on my rather oily skin last year.I'm just not doing matte this year.

I will never buy a Lancome skin care product (other than Bifacil eye make-up remover) again. They didn't do anything for me at all,and I stopped using them about a quarter way into the pots because I needed to get something that actually helped my skin. waste of $$$ !!!

Physician's Formula Lash from the Tube Mascara was so clumpy and thick, completely weighed down my curl. I'll defanitly stick with my Guerlain Divornia Mascara.

no: l'oreal "x12 volume" mascara -although it's good for some special effects on lower lashes.
yes: guerlain and nars eyeshadows

- maybelline xxl mascara did everything that a mascara shouldnt do. it was so wet, clumpy, flaky, and inconvenient because it was so bulky.

- philosophy kiss me lip balm was the worst lip balm that i've ever used

Maybelline:
- Shiny-licious: i got grape, tasted synthetic (well cuz it is but..) not horribly sticky but left one wanting for something better.
- Jelly Gloss: got the orange, definitely synthetic, not moisturizing... feels and smells and performs like something worth 25cents.

MAC green gel cleanser! Completely dried my cheeks out while my T-zone was still as oily as Iraq  Well come to think of it, my experiences with MAC have never been all that pleasant:unsure: ........ especially with their foundations and creams:yuk:

I've always found mac skin ranges useless aswell, I bought a mac "mousturising foundation" earlier this year which left me with a bright red rash on my cheeks and dried my skin out completely, thankfully I had tried it on at the counter before I bought it so I got a refund, I only found out about its stinging properties when I got home, so I hadn't broken in to the bottle to use it, other mac products are fine with me really, though some of the lipsticks are a little drying.

On chanel foundation, i find it fantastic and i get very dry skin, i use the vitalumiér liquid foundation, and its gives a lovely perfect natural finish, the vitalumiér creme foundation is lovely as well, i've nevre had problems with them.

hmm maybe i just got a bad tube? there are some people who swear by it on makeupalley...i might give it another try ;)

the too faced stuff thats supposed to make eye shadows into eye liner, any lip plumpers... Pore strips, they just clog your pores more than anything. I know there have been tons but thats all I can think of.

Is Mac make-up really worth the money? My friends love them and continuously buy their products but $35 only gets you a couple single eye shadows. I presonally perfer just going to the local drug store and getting the more commercial brands like Rimmel.

food! don't waste your money on food. starve and wait 'till you get home:innocent:

Haha I agree! it's so easy to blow money on "quick bites" when you're out shopping or whatnot! B ut the food is usually never nearly as good as something I could make, and usually I jsut wish I woulda brought a granola bar or a bagel out with me!

MAC is great because their color selection is so huge. their eyeshadow and lipgloss collection has many unique colors that you just can't find anywhere else. but their most one-of-a-kind colors are usually limited editions. they're also great with matching the color of your skin with foundation/concealer/powder due to their color selection.

Chanel Star Products.

They look good, but are always garish, hard to use and in colours that don't suit anyone:ninja: .

Don't waste your money on LipFusion.
There is a tingle when applied but not even the slightest difference in size.

I just spent over $30 for lip gloss.

I hear mixed reviews about Rimmel, are they any good?
I think so. I think their mascara is crap but pretty much everything else is really good. Their foundations run a tad bit dark though... I'm asian and I got the second lightest color but it was really dark on me!! So just keep that in mind. I really like their glosses and eye pencils. They have a "plumping" lipgloss... I don't think it plumps much but it has such a great texture!!

What I do is add a couple drops on cinnamon oil to regular lipglosses..it tingles a bit and can plump upo your lips a bit. Nothing dramatic ofr angelina jolie, but it pretty much has the same effect of plumping glosses, but much, much cheaper. And if it doesn't work, well, a bottle of cinnamon oil is only about $3 anyway.

Any expensive hair spray! I bought a can of Suave spray for $1.75 the other day. It holds just fine, isn't sticky, and the nozzle doesn't clog (unlike the $15 bottle of fancy spray I bought!).
