Don't waste your money on...

Smashbox lip gloss - it's not bad if you put lip BALM on first, but otherwise, it makes my lips flake into these, little balls of dead skin that sit on my lips. Ew, ew, and more ew.

Diorshow Mascara. I hate how it works so well, and then POOF! it suddenly clumps up on your brush and is a big disgusting mass of black.

Benefit Badgal mascara works just as well, minus the crazy clumping.

Amazing Cosmetics mineral foundation--I bought the kit with the concealer, brush, velvet foundation and setting powder and I thought it was awful. No magic. It looks like cheap powder. They even include an instructional DVD that was not at all exciting or interesting. I can't believe that I got hooked into this. Also the concealer has lots of pore clogging ingredients which does not seem to fit with the mineral makeup concept.

And Physician's Formula mineral wear loose powder is HORRIBLE. It looks like you have stark YELLOW powder on your face. It is so baaaaad

Anything by Physician's Formula is awful. Its about 2 years past expiration date it seems.

Clean and Clear Morning Burst Facial Cleaner is not that good. I see no diffrence in my skin after using it and it doesn't lather very well.

Eyebrow gel or wax, use your hair gel or wax, trust me, they are exactly the same

Nivea Beauté Energy Flash foundation - sticky, greasy, hard to blend, does not really cover...

^ I agree. I HATE Clinique products. The 3-step cleansing program irritated my skin, the serum did too and their lipstick doesn't feel nice either. The only product I use is their High Impact Mascara which is quite okay as a base, but doesn't hold the curl very well and neither gives enough volume nor lenghts for lashes.

ysl mascaras.i hate the brushes
Its all a matter of opinion - YSL Faux Cils is the best mascara i've ever had & i've tried alot. Diorshow is almost as good but is slightly harder to apply. The number of people who have commented on how wonderful my lashes are made me really chuffed that i spent the money. People just get on better with different things... same goes for YSL Touche Eclat - I'm so glad i spent the money, makes a huge difference to my face. Since I've used all those products so many people say how good my make up looks.

These are extemely popular products for a reason, so its usually better to try things yourself & take people's opinions into consideration...

EDIT: same goes for my clinique moisturiser & She'laq by Benefit make up sealer, which is a genius product thanks to someone on here who recommended it

Why don't you like Benefit? I have always wanted to try it because the packaging is so cute!

I love the packaging to and have ended up buying stuff because of it. I have just never got on with the products themselves.

Maybelline Shadow Effects Eye Pencils: They start coming off almost as soon as you put them on.

Maybelline Cool Effects Eye Pencils: Now while I do like these and was sad to give them up they were just not worth the price. At first they were great, but then about 1/2 way through the pencil they would dry up and thus pull on my eye too much and they would become detached from the wood making them impossible to sharpen w/o constantly breaking them and were also prone to falling out all together.

Rimmel 100% Waterproff Mascara: Okay the first time, but a big clumpy mess every time afterwards. I only bought it because I was poor and $5.00 was what I could afford and I like their eyeliner a lot so...but yeah it ended up costing me more in the long run because it's a worthless mascara. Have not used it since I bought L’Oréal Paris - Lash Architect Waterproof Mascara and I threw the Rimmel away a few days ago while organizing my make-up drawer.

Stila Lip Glaze: I am yet to find a lip gloss that comes with a brush attached that I actually like. I get them because I can put them on w/o touching my lips, good while at work, but I rarely end up using them in the end. That aside the gloss seems to take a lifetime to come out and either dispenses too little or too much, never know which it will do at any given time. I find it too shiny, I wanted something more subtle like tinted Prada lip balms and I don't like the way it feels on my lips. It might be okay for $5.00, but not for the $20.00 I paid. I don't consider it much better then the Rimmel Volume Boost Liquid Lipcolour I bought for I think $3.00-4.00.

Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer: So I use the regular clear BB lip balm all the time and love it, so I try the tinted stuff and loathe it. Dries out my lips making them flaky and the color slides around too much if that makes sense.

ULTA Cosmetics Brand Eyeshadow: I have two of these because it was buy 1 get 1 free. They were a pain in the *** from start to finish. I really loved one of the colors but I just got sick of working with it. They were hard to apply w/o causing a giant mess and though it would start coming off only a few hours after applied if it fell on my face while putting it on it was nearly impossible to get off. I won't buy their eyeshadows again.

I hate DiorShow mascara with a passion

Yeah I think the brush is too big. I also didn't like Bad Gal Lash By Benefit... It didn't really do anything to my lashes.

I don't like Dr.Feelgood by Benefit either.
