Dries van Noten

i went up a half size on those but softgrey was tts, but the toe was tight on her.

thanks lucky!!
are we talking bout the same ones? i do not recall if you had bought them or not.. maybe in black?
i cant post a pic and dont know where else to find a pic!
they are the T bar sandals with contrasting panel and metal beads?

can someone pls tell me how the dries shoes size?
i am eyeing the heeled sandals with beads that come in either black or white i think.
i am looking at the white ones and need little help.

:flower:

They're a bit small I think ... I usually take 38 & got 38.5. Enjoy :flower:

PS We are talking about the same ones--I believe actually it's metallic paint on the beads, I don't think they're actually metal ... OK, let me go look. That's right, I think they're wooden beads. I have them in black, luckyme ordered in black and returned. The white I think is a bit on the ivory side if I'm not mistaken.

thanks tata!
i am actually a 38/38.5 in general and these are a 38 so not sure if they come small?!
do you know of any websites that might still have them?

I find DVN run TTS...Having said that, I haven't tried shoes of the collection you are referring to yet, but in the past few years I think they run TTS (except for closed shoes which sometimes run 1/2 a size small). HTH!

thanks brigadeiro!!
will have to really think about it as i would love for them to fit

Have you tried Barney's? They carried the white, and I saw them on sale in my size here (they didn't have them early in the season--I guess the pair I saw was a return).

leyla, if it helps I am the same shoe size as you. I have 2 pairs of DVN shoes from this season and had to size up half and bought both pairs in a size 39.
Note though I have not had a chance to try on the style that you are thinking about though. :flower:

thanks for finding the pic for me princessimp :flower:
i think i'll have to pass then :(
i just love this style so much ... oh well... hopefully i'll find them my size sometime :)

I'm eyeing a pair of dries sandals on ebay.. i'm usually a size 38 (sometimes 38.5) and the sellers says they are size 38.5 but they run a bit small and most likely suits someone with 37,5 to 38.. do you think they would fit me or that they would be too small?

Do you have a pic Sill?

I'm a 38 as well, and many times I've heard people describe DVN shoes to run 1/2 a size small, so I went 1/2 a size bigger, but then found them a little big and harder to walk in (so I need 'party feet' to fill them up)...

these.. :)

Thanks for the pic Sill!...

Hm...I have a pair of shoes from that same collection (but different, they're the beaded & sequinned sandals from my most recent post...), I went 1/2 a size bigger, but found I could've stuck to my own size. These are fabric, however, so I'm not sure...

Since you can wrap it around your ankle with fabric, and the seller said it could even fit a 37.5, I'd say go for it ;)

Hello Dries-fans, can you help me out? I know you've already discussed shoe sizing and so forth, but I thought I'd ask you specifically about this items and see if you could help me out?

I'm a Swedish size 39 in shoes, which usually means a US 9 and a UK 6 (at least Topshop's 6s are perfect). In clothes I'm a pretty regular medium, I have UK 10 in most clothes, and I think that's a 6 or 8 in US, right?
Now, I've found the shoes online in size 39 (which the seller translates as a US 8,5, too small for me?) and a 40H (too big?). And the shirt in Belgian size 38 and 42.
Can anyone give me advice on how these sizes would fit me?

Jenmarlin, I think the blouse in a Belgian 38 should be just right for you ;) It corresponds to a UK10, and is 'loose' in design (plus Dries is usually on the fluid/loose/generous side), 42 would be too big, I think...

Shoe-wise, I'm a UK 5 and use 38, so a 39 might be ok if these don't run small. I haven't tried these myself, but I heard that shoes from this collection may run 1/2 a size to 1 size small...I would think 39 1/2 would be ideal, but am not sure

Thanks Brigadeiro, I think the 39,5 would be perfect too, I wish I could find it though... Eeeek, the bad thing about internet shopping, no possibility to try anything on!
Anyone who has actually tried this exact model of shoes on and can tell me if they run big or small?

jenmarlin, good advice from brigadeiro.

please post the website credits for your pictures. we have crediting guidelines.
