It makes me impatient for my trip to Antwerp in November... I think I'm going to go crazy when I get there.... it's going to be like christmas!

I don't have any pictures of me wearing the dress ... maybe I'll try playing dress up sometime. Laika, funny you mentioning Dries styled by Ann. I have this jet black beaded and layered Ann necklace from Fall 05 (another hardly ever worn item) and have always wondered whether the dress and necklace would work together, paired with some boots. Maybe I will try it out and get critique from you guys!

you girls put me to shame but as promised, thanks to my perplexed but agreeable husband.

dries dress from f/w 07 (with ann d. boots)
dries top from s/s 07 (with the f/w 08 txell miras skirt I just got). I wouldn't usually put these two together but wanted to show how beautiful this skirt is, curiously it [actually] works fairly well. photos don't do it justice which is always the case with intricate details.

Is it THE sequin blouse!!?! Lovely. The Txell skirt is fantastic. So special yet versatile. That, along with a l/s top, would be a great look for the colder months. The Ann D. boots make such a provocative statement.

luckyme - you look beautiful! that first dress is unbelievable ... so special, I love it very much. The pattern and colors are great. You look great in it! And the sequin top is gorgeous. All of it actually. I need to look at the skirt again, it looks really cool. I hope you post more, you carry Dries off very well.

The Txell skirt looks fantastic! Does it come just over you knees? It's a bit hard to tell exactly how long it is.

laika, the txell skirt comes down a couple of inches below the knee in front and is slightly longer in back.

spent the day in the forest, hacking with friends, cozy in my dries sweater.

I'm stuck in an all day meeting but will post pictures tonight But I'm pretty sure mine are just the black version of the purple ankle boots on monamoore, with the exposed side zipper. I love them! Ankle boots never look that good on me with a skirt, but I these work for me!

mine are exactly like the monamoore ones, with no toe detail and the little flap over the zipper. The Butter ones are slightly different
