Drop waists

I love this trend. I have a pretty honey brown sundress like this; I'm short so I have to pair it with jeans and heels to avoid looking stumpy. It's very comfortable and breezy.

I love this look, but as Naimah mentioned, would it make petite girls look even shorter? As opposed to empire waist dresses, which makes us look taller.

Between the 2, I'd prefer the raised waist but only because I have a long torso. The drop waist, I feel, would make my legs seem shorter. But yeah, the drop waist has a certain cuteness factor to it.

I love the look & being short found it still complimented the length of my legs and surprisingly didn't make them look too stumpy. I think depending on the length of the dress it's suitable for all heights.

I never conosidered drop waisted dresses really cute but watching some of the pictures here made me reconsider. They're not too bad really, I like the white one in the Stella resort collection and also the Rochas one with pockets.

I was wearing an empire waist dress the other day and someone asked me if I was pregnant... I was sad
