The end of skinny jeans

well excessively tight pants worn everyday MIGHT lower sperm count for men...perhaps that's what she's talking about...

Oversaturation spells the end for the trend...

I don't think bell bottom flares are next, and if they are they will flare from the thigh and not the knee.

I think it will be pants with more ease - pleated pants, boyfriend jeans, wide legged styles. The boots that matched the skinny pants will stay for a while which will mean pants will stay on the shorter side.

But what do I know, I'll wear jeans from any decade

Im sorry for laughing, im actually laughing at that lady in the shop, what the hell is wrong with her?? yeast infections from skinny jeans? that's like my mom telling me dont eat so much ketchup cause you'll get cancer

So your question was if her statement was true or what?

Yeah that's pretty funny. If you don't get yeast infections from underpants why would you get them from skinny jeans? It's all cotton.:lol:

I really don't like the thought of superflares and high waisted jeans. But I don't think that skinny jeans will completely go out of fashion. I love skinny jeans. I wear them all the time and the furthest I've been to flares are bootlegs.

skinny jeans RIP

i am ***king fed up of skinny jeans and seeing anorexic celebs wearing them, l love the higher waisted wide leg jeans , they are flattering on most woman and work with most body types. skinny jeans are too form framing and look good only anorexic model or coltish body types.

in the US , i already see girls reverting back to wider cuts, anyways certain fashion depend on different parts of the world , ie aussies have been weariing skinnies forever , here in north america , the boot cut/flare still reigns supreme.

I dont think skinny jeans will go out of style. I think that theres room for lots of jean styles. Nothing will completely go away for a while. I dont care if they do though... Im still going to wear my skinnys as well as my high waisted wide leg & my straight leg jeans.

resentment much disco? I don't think you have to be "anorexic" or have a boyish figure to wear skinny jeans. I've seen some curvy girls rock "skinny" jeans and look foxy, it's all about the right proportions.

I love drainpipes and I've loved them since freshmen year in high school. I am really glad that I don't have to alter my own jeans and there are so many brands offering better cuts and better materials, that would be the only reason why I would hate to see this so-called trend disappear. I hope the higher end brands keep it as a staple in their collections.

I hope skinny jeans stay! I'm short so they look better on me than flared jeans and most wide leg jeans make me look stumpy

skinnies look good on petite skinny frames , those girls should rock em and other jean types (variety is spice of life) , but for girls with curves and who want look good without framing our bodies and hide some of our spots, wide leg jeans are a blessing, Ive seen waaaaaaaay too many people wearing skinnies when they shouldnt be. Im speaking from experience , I bought into this stupid fad, and bought a pair of siwys when i realized , they make you look only fatter, and im a size 4 btw. Oh and elle woods ,actually if you get wide leg jeans in your in seam they look fine......my cousin is 5'1 she got trouser jeans from the gap , they are awesome.....plus you can look taller by wearing it with heels.....lot of girls do it....

It is utterly normal to have bootlet or flare or wide leg or boyfriend fit or high waisted fit to come back, because that is what fashion is all about! Trends rotates, there is no point folloiwng them, even predicting them, it is just on or the another! just wear what suites your body, your soul and your outfit.

:lol: still laughing at rangerrick's story. (not at you, at your story!) It's funny too because I work at the exact mall you are talking about! At banana though, not h&m. Although I do have some friends who work at that h&m. Although I can't picture them telling you what that salesgirl told you so I'm thinking (hoping) it wasn't one of them. Funny though. And I think you should still wear what you like. If your mom won't let you use her money to buy what you like to wear, then save your money and buy them yourself. You are old enough to make your own decisions. That kind of made me angry hearing about that and that they made you look in aeropostale!:ninja:

I was wearing 'skinny jeans' before they got 'big'. I will still wear them no matter what.

Urgh this debate is so old.

And I've seen equal amounts of 'skinny' and 'big' people look bad in skinny jeans. I really hate the term skinny jeans now.

Sorry guys it wasn't the girl from the H&M it was this girl well not really a girl a woman who was working at the Aeropostelate at the strip mall sorta outside of town.

I recently saw an incredibly chic girl who goes to my school in super wide legged dark wash jeans and I have to say it was really, really refreshing. Its like we were so stuck with that one look that everyone was wearing, it was time for a change. The trick is to keep it slim on top so you don't look like a bafoon, its a really tricky proportion to pull off but when done right its amazing.

I may be pear-shaped, and by definition I should stay far away from skinny jeans, but I still like them with some heels. I wear my skinnies when I'm dressing semi-formally; I think they look best that way (for me).

Bootcut jeans are my staples, tough. Can't get enough of them. I love wide leg jeans, too. I wish I had some money to stock my closet with them.

I will never wear high-waisted jeans nor boyfriend jeans.

I don't mind the skinny jean, only when its worn poorly. But that applies to pretty much anything.

I am starting to like this wide straight-leg jean on women though...
Flares will take a loooooong time to get in my good books I reckon.
