Dsquared2 S/S 06 Milan

I like DSquared. Usually fashion is so rigid and and the most relaxed it has been was in the flowy Chloe and Stella McCartney phase a couple seasons ago. The fashion shows are an actual show - something entertaining, and while the design and such may not be up to par as some others, they still have great pieces.

I love the fact that this theme was like "trashy cowgirl". It's fun and young. Together it might be too costume-y but individual, it's working.

I have a question. Why does "young and fun" immediately have to be associated with vulgar and trashy? There are plenty of "young and fun" who don't have to wear ***-crack showing jeans to prove that they are "young and fun."

[DSquared] Spring 2006 Ready-to-Wear

They are twin-brothers from Canada, Dean & Dan Caten(I guess by now you figured out where DSquared came from!) Very playful, creative and original. I always seem to enjoy their collections..take a look for yourself..

** Also notice the barn-like theme of the runway show! Fits the look of the collection like a dream!!They've got a great stylist!

This season its more Western-ish with Indian-American inspired beadwork >>>

I love their runway shows they're always so fun! But I hate hate western...=\
