Du Juan

small pics from modelhommes

who post the bigger pics~~??

She looks good, she is prevalent on the catwalks of most European and some American catwalks. But I'd like to see her work on the catwalks for Ralph Lauren or Calvin Klein who use few minority models, if ever.

She has the most amazing waistline but her shoulders are a little broad and too muscular, it especially looks weird at Oscar De La Renta cause of that red tube dress, definitely not a good look for her and also the makeup was horrible and made her look really korean! Besides her collarbone/shoulders area, I think she has an amazing, toned, skinny body with a miniscule waist and a graceful elegance about her.

I think she is a very traditional chinese beauty actually. She has one of those faces you could find in an old chinese painting, full little lips, slanted eyes, long thin nose, classic chinese beauty not the modern hapa look that is all the rage.

Excuse me, but what is that supposed to mean? Her make-up looked horrible so thus she looked like a korean? Maybe you didn't mean to sound so, but that really offends me, especially since I am korean myself

:ninja: Goodness everyone, please be careful about what you post...:( This thread should not suffer so much controversy, really

Yes, indeed.

I'm sorry. I didn't want to stir up controversy since we're supposed to be talking about Du Juan, but I just couldn't let it go unnoticed.

true. i dont like that hapa look myself, which is suitable for more mass-commercial stuff, like make-up & personal-care products.
for fashion, exaggerated facial features like the overly-'Oriental' look is the way to go, but usually i tend to like something with a little more quirk rather than just 'pretty' (which is how i would describe DJ).

she looks the best here. she has a nice upper body so the deep v-neckline really accentuates & elongates her figure. i find whatever outfit that covers her lower half (meaning, not skirts) are the most flattering. but this being spring you cant escape skirts, so it's refreshing to see this silhouette on her.

I don't think that having Hapa/mixed features automatically makes you more beautiful, you just look mixed that's all. I've seen Asian models who are not mixed with refined and well defined features which some think are only associated with caucasians.

She looked good at Etro. Love her in leggings.
She does have very muscular shoulders. But that's one of her uniqueness I guess.

Sorry to offend, I didn't mean her makeup was horrible because it made her look korean, though I'm sure you understand what I meant since you are Korean yourself, she looked really pretty and I think many Korean girls are really pretty, it just doesn't look like Du! Though of course that just shows her versatility in the fashion industry. I know a girl who looks like Du in the Oscar De La Renta pics, like a carbon copy! she's a very pretty friend of mine.
