i find it very tacky. other than the orange dress on caroline. who looks surprisingly good by the way. this just reminds me of a high end reference or caché which is in every mall. and what's the deal with some of these companies who people are supposed to get the trends from still doing oversized flower pins? we saw them a few years ago on sex and the city yet they were still on the prada or miu miu whatever mens show and here again not to mention numerous other locations.
Elie Saab is my fave designer but after a while, his pieces look the same. He overloads on the glitter. I would like to see some pastels, light chiffons. The dresses are beautiful don't get me wrong, but too...same.
Hm, thought there is an unusual number of knee-length dresses in this collection by couture standard. But in terms of design, nothing surprising, typical Saab. Coincidentally, my favorite pieces are mostly in white.
I find Michelle Alves an excellent walker, on par with Eugenia. Couture somehow looks better on her than, say, Erin O'Connor and Diana Gartner, whose physique are supposed to be the most ideal for couture. Elise has also improved a lot and she's my second fave. I hear Dewi Driegen and Diana Dondoe don't have the perfect height for couture, but that doesn't seem to hurt them. Also, Rianne seems to have a strong resurgence thanks to her Chanel cosmetic contract (the one that made her look like Adriana Lima).
