we don't even know what the movie is about do we, i agree the outfits are peculiar but i'd say the girls are suppose to be like this....i'd guess the characters are poor and their just teens experimenting and not really caring about looking unstylish. i use to wear some pretty experimental outfits when i was a young teen...and it's possible it's set in a small town in america...
