Elle Japan has done that before... they do a tremendous amount of model coverage... behind the scenes at the shows, streetstyle, etc... really great stuff.

I think the mag is about the 4 most important fashion cities: Paris, Milan, NY and London, so I guess this is the reason they chose a backstage pic.

that's a part of it..but it's also how Keira is mostly towards the right and there's that little bit of text that's incredibly small of her name and all the big, flashy text is on the left. it's so unbalanced and this could have been a lovely cover because Keira looks amazing.

btw, i agree that the obama headline makes it even more weird..it almost makes it look like a weekly newsletter than a weekly magazine.

Oh haha I'm sure she can, it's just that I'm surprised that they can make such a beautiful woman look bad. I don't think I've seen a bad photoshoot/cover of hers before.

i don't really get the cover shot, they should have used a better backstage shot than this. But the content sounds quite nice, love their massive coverage of the street style.

I like the Sharp and Sexy ed- and the clothes in the other ed look great too. I like the patterns and the colors.
