Gisele is everywhere
the ELLE FRANCE cover is much better than ELLE ITALIA

Some nice covers there; I was thinking about Iman yesterday, because I was recalling the Tia Maria commercial that used to be on TV in the 80's.

And Gisele's doing her thing, looking tousled on the Elle China cover, which has managed to restrain its cover text, and looking casual on Elle France.

whats with Gisele everywhere? Is she doing something?
Not that I'm complaining about her getting cover though ^_^
& what does it say on her top?

As much as I love Hana, that cover is crazy. It made me laugh, I love it. It's her face, she has this look of innocent surprise. I wish Hana were on more Elle covers, whatever she's wearing...

Gisele's doing the rounds in order to promote that RED fashion initiative? She looks as good in casuals as she does when glam - but imagine if you had access to an international newsstand, and one day, all these covers were on sale at the same time. It would look insane!

^^ Very Very Very Cover
100 % better than Elle Russia's expressionless Cover

yes it is. To vogue28 the inscription on gisele's top is InSpi (Red). I don't know what it means?

Oh, it's the word 'inspired' split into sections. It's not a great slogan, is it? No wonder people don't buy this RED stuff. I couldn't even read it on the T-shirt, the flower was hiding it. And in the other, it's in blue, which is contrary to the idea of red.

These covers promote Gisele far more effectively than the RED campaign. I won't complain about that, though.

She is also on the cover to Norwegian Elle, February 2009.

The reason is she is involved in the charity campaign Red. Red is a brand that is licensed to partner companies, such as American Express, Apple, Converse, Motorola, Microsoft, Dell, The Gap, and Giorgio Armani. Each company creates a product with the Product Red logo and a percentage of the profits from the sale of these labeled products will go to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria in Africa.

Gisele is fronting this product to raise money for this organization

It`s the vocalist in the band U2, Bono is the co-founder of this organization.

yes, I guess I read something about RED in US Vogue, maybe dec. 2007 issue.

According to a story on PRnewswire.com, this RED/Elle initiative will extend to all editions! It doesn't guarantee 30 covers, but it sounds like we have a lot more to come:

In a publishing 'first' 30 Editions of Elle magazine team up with Bono, Gisele Bundchen and Scarlett Johansson in the fight against AIDS in Africa.

In just over 2 years, (PRODUCT)RED partners and events have generated over 120 million USD to help eliminate AIDS in Africa. Now, the ELLE network will simultaneously feature (RED) in more than thirty editions globally, with content provided by Gisele Bundchen, Scarlett Johansson and Bono.

By launching this large-scale initiative, ELLE is backing (RED), a brand created in 2006 by the lead singer of U2 and activist, Bono, and Bobby Shriver, an American philanthropist, to help eliminate AIDS in Africa. Money is generated through the involvement of partner brands who design and sell specific (PRODUCT)RED branded products and contribute up to 50% of the profits to the Global Fund* to invest in African AIDS programs with an emphasis on the health of women and children.

The number of countries involved and the simultaneous publication of the features across the ELLE network make this a global 'first' in publishing. From mid-January to the end of February, ELLE will speak with one voice to more than 20 million readers through some thirty international editions.

The issue will appear on January 17, 2009 in ELLE France and in the February issues of 30 other international editions go on sale in mid-January (except for the UK, Japan and Quebec editions which will be dated March 2009 and go on sale at the end of January).
