I remember ELLE France being so good when they was the monthly edition. The Doutzen issue, the Julia Stegner one, and many many others were so amazing. Even better than Vogue of some countries.

I wish they didn't change their format. Cause it's real trash.

French Elle never been monthly. Or i just missed something? It's a weekly magazine since... well since for ever!

I just miss their "special top models" issues and i also miss MODELS on cover!

Not enough models though if you think back when Renee Simonsen was on just about every other week. They rarely had actresses on in the 80's and 90's

I still quite like French ELLE... and having same models all the time does not help either... I think they are a bit overdozing on Laetitia Casta, Monica Belluci, Sophie M... but at least they don't do much reprinting...and talking of reprints.... see my next post;-)

I can't get sick of Marion. While I agree she does get alot of French Elle & Madame Figaro covers, she gets barely any others.
Personally I think she's one of the few actresses who can actually pull a fashion shoot off - she's underused in that respect.
I'm excited that Jalouse and AnOther Magazine have booked her - looking forward to those.

Elle Sweden March 2010

Elle came with TrendBibeln våren & sommaren 2010. I'm so spoiled all scans and previews here that when magazine come wrapped in plastic, I feel not want to buy, I don't know what to get.. Elle Sweden February was sell out last time, so I don't know if last mag has somekind of collections but TrendBibeln has season trends and my favorite Modeögönblick which have 6 page feature pictures from some big shows and backstages (Victor&Rolf, Dolce&Gabbana, Mulberry, Chanel, Jean Paul Gaultier, YSL, Sonia Rykiel an Burberry). Lovely idea!
In magazine have Africa and Route 66 inspired eds among others.. quite nice issue once again.

I too don't think Elle France has ever been a monthly edition, it's always been a weekly magazine. It's only their "Spécial Mode" which comes out two times a year (first issue of September, and March), that are much thicker with lots of editorials and mostly one model starring in them. You must have thought of those issues.

I remember their thick issues back in 2007/2008. Those editions with Elise Crombez, Mondino and Dubled collaboration, etc. Were those weekly? Can't believe...
