Actually I think it is not so bad. Some pieces (i.e. that blue jacket on Emina) are really beautiful... I don't the like th green dress on Gemma though, or the pink on Lily D that I saw somewhere. The one on Raquel is beautiful though... and the flowerbomb on Hye... hmm not so sure yet.

there are some really good stuff (the white blouse on Freha is ab. fab.) but the style is really harsch for the eyes esp. the prints mix : dots with very colourful stripes and flower print!!!! I really like all the 80s butterflies things!

i like it. it looks like it lacks a bit of refinement but i've always thought that about ungaro. i oddly like the prints and the combination. very unapologetic and bold. quite risque for a first outing.

That is my favourite piece, probably because it it doesn't seem to fit in the collection.

haha everyone hates it but i absolutely adore it!! the colors and the shapes are phenomenal and so summery!

It all looks so ripped of... the long dresses are from Versace, the green in post 13 looks Gucci, and the dress on Hilary in post 18 is something I would expect to see at Blumarine.

That said, I don't have that big a problem with rip off, or "heavily inspired" as long as the inspiration is good

this is an amazing collection , very opulent and rich in ideas. it hearkens back to a time when fashion was about fantasy and ideas.
and couture (even though this is RTW) was about making beautiful rich clothes and not making fashion statements
i think a lot of us need to start viewing fashion differently,
not so much as viewing the runway items as ment to be worn the way they are presented, but more in asking one's self,
can i wear items from this collection in my own way?

is there anything in this that i can appropriate to my own taste and style?

I am not a woman but i am sure there are a lot of women who would answer yes to both of the above questions.
that said, the collection is a resounding success

thanks for the hqs. this guy is really talented, there are some beautiful clothes in this collection, but its just too all over the place. he knows how to make the pieces work, he just needs to figure out how to make the collection work as a whole.

hmmm...some nice pieces like the striped shirt on stam or the one on freja. the rest was just everywhere. at times i felt like i was in the circus. way too much color even for a spring/summer collection, it's just overwhelming. hate the jacket and the skirt on emina. a lot of the stuff i have seen before. disappointed by this collection.

The fashion rocks, whats not so hot though, is the fact that this all copy....Versace.
