She's counting down the days until she welcomes her first child into the world.

And when her baby does finally make its arrival, Emily Blunt is determined that it will live in absolute luxury.



The 30-year-old actress is reported to have spent an incredible $35,000 on items for her baby during a mammoth shopping spree at Petit Tresor in Los Angeles earlier this week.

News of Emily's purchases come as it has also been claimed that she and husband John Krasinski are having a girl.

According to TMZ.com, Emily didn't hold back with her purchases at the Robertson Boulevard store on Tuesday and splashed out on several large items to deck out the nursery.

The website claim that Emily spent $6,780 on a crib and a further $4,880 on a changing table.

Other items purchased included an Aspen Custom Pink Velvet Regency Glider nursing chair and stool, which retails at £3,651, and a $350 Lulla Smith Cotton Saint Moses Basket.
