I disagree, it can work if you do it right. Dasha Zhukova wore a white Rodarte dress with a similar theme and wore emerald green Charlotte Olympia Palamo heels which elevated the look. This bridal/princess styling is more tacky to me

I like the dress it's so pretty. I like how everything matches in that look because to me a bright color with that style of dress would look odd. I think it would have just made it less elegant and put together. And while its not a big of a risk for her it's just a nice look. And sometimes just looking nice is better then wearing a crazy outfit. Also, I'm presuming the dress is Alice+Oliva since they hosted the party, but does anyone know for sure that it is?

Yes the designers of Current/Elliott are her stylists; they call themselves Styling Team Maude aka Emily Current & Meritt Elliott. They dress her for everyday apparently too.

I won´t even ask as why she chose to wear shoes that look way too big for her, a shirt too big and shorts too short...and if she indeed is styled for her every-day appearances at local stores by stylists than that makes it all even worse...they should have told her to brush her hair at least...but maybe she was to busy calling paps ...sorry but I just don´t get her appeal, if it wasn´t for her family (dad, aunt) she wouldn´t be where she is...doing Scream movies and getting pictured more often than Angelina Jolie, Charlize Theron, Halle Berry and Scarlett Johansson together in an entire year!!! (sorry for my rambling but I just had to state my opinion on her as a fashion hipster)

maybe it´s me but her clothes and shoes look perfectly in size, not to small not too big, the shorts are a perfect lenght... no butt cheek showing or anything like that.
about her career, one would think that having Julia Roberts as an aunt will open more doors for her than doing a Scream movie or the pretty much "unknown" ones she´s been in... she hasn´t starred in any huge movie yet.
I agree she must call the papz but I don´t complain, pics every day
