Emma Watson

why all the reposts?
i kinda like the short hair on her and Carey, hate it on Mia and Emily though
i want to see it from the back

I'm not crazy about her new cut, but Emma's desire to break up with Hermione is logical and natural.

Seems like she cut it to break away from her Hermione image and to also appear older. I do think the hair ages her because it makes her seem a little less 14 year old, which she can appear like sometimes (especially when she's without makeup).

It makes her forehead seem kinda big though, since she doesn't have side bangs anymore.

I think so too, too bad she does appear older indeed but 20 years older.

Ok, ok, now I just sound bitter, but I loved her long hair!

the hair.

Oh dear goddddd. I love you emma but you lack the facial structure to sport this look D:

hair grows! if she won't like the short cut she'll let it grow again! that's about it! all the moaning when celebs cut their hair is kind of childish imo - at least to me!

yeah its not the end of the world cause it grows . this is true.
To be honest i think once it grows out below the ear its going to look SUPER cute.

Not that i am against short hair but they're a little too short on the backside in Emma's hair cut. She could have picked a prettier cut.

she looks like an old lady :(
I really loved her long silky hair, why did she do that horrible thing? :(:(
I don't think that Burberry will make any new campaign with herself :(

I really don't know how I feel about the new hair. I do understand the feeling of wanting to let go of something though. My hair was down to my waist two years ago, and then after graduating high school, I had it cut off to about chin length. (I donated it to Locks of Love.) It's about moving on to the next chapter of your life and wanting to signify it somehow.

I personally preferred her hair longer, but that might be due to bias as I prefer long hair on women in general, with exceptions to Cameron Diaz, Meg Ryan, Caroline Quentin and Natalie Portman. However, I do think that her small features and slender face help to support this hairstyle, so she can 'pull it off'.

I thought she put across interesting reasoning to the chance, I suppose it never occurred to me that she'd been unallowed to change her hair due to Hermione. But on the other hand, what about her highlights to almost completely blonde hair for Deathly Hallows? I'm pretty sure Hermione doesn't dye her hair in the last book =/

Perhaps she needed to put Harry Potter completely behind her. It must be frustrating to not be able to change your hair much for close to 10 years.

Emma hasn't had Hermione hair since the second movie (that's why people complained that the magical yule ball transformation didn't really happen because she had been prettied up two films prior). they've actually been very lenient since she had unfrizzy, not-brown hair for most of the films. although i guess she was obligated to keep it long.

Cutting off your lovely long hair when you've had it for so long is a difficult decision, because although you will grow back, you have to sport the crop for some time. I think she's daring/brave to go and have a try; most important thing is that she's happy :)

^ In terms of covers, I agree. I think it needs to grow out a bit until I see some members starting to like the short 'do.

Yeps, it is just little too short from back, not the most flattering hair cut but I really think it will start looking better when it grow out little bit.

I really love short hair on some women (michelle williams is made for short hair, natalie posrtman looked amaaazing) they are really super brave when they cut hair. I could not do it, I allways need something that I can hide my face

And emma´s hair looks a lot better in black/white picture.

Seems very childish in this photo, no? The lack of strong bone structure in her face is making her appear even younger. Can't say I'm a fan of her hair's styling either...

The haircut reminds me of Mia Farrow's "Rosemary's Baby" cut. But it looked better on Mia, I think. It's not awful on Emma, but I think the longer hair suits her more.

guys, lets wait and see how she wears it. how she styles it. until we judge.
