but that isn't a trend so much as a 'style'...

dolce ALWAYS does this...
as does versace, and gucci, and cavalli, etc....

*at first i thought you meant bondage or s&m...
but that's not really a trend either...
so i am really not following what this thread is about...

I can see it become a trend later next year. Maybe...Late summer? It falls into the heroin chic category.... I'm so sick of Boho/Hobo clothes... The sweet and pretty lace dresses/shirts/cami's will mutate into something a little more daring and sexy. If you wear this trend from head to toe it will become way too overwhelming, but incorporating pieces in your everyday wardrobe will look fantastic!

Kimkhuu: I think so... I like to wear short shorts or shor skirts with lace stockings that go up to the thigh. Or with garters.. =P Or maybe a deep v sweater with a lacy corset bra underneath?

This trend is very heavily combined with the whole sheerness on S/S runways. The 'return' of the platform fits in it very well too!

I see it becoming a huge trend... Versace and Cavalli is more about SKIN, tacky sexiness, girl with extremely bronzed skin and big glamourous hair, very sexy indeed..... but there's wasn't anything chic or artsy or even avant garde about the whole concept....

The erotico chic trend is a lot more "bourgeois" looking, a lot more sophisticated.. it's a bit less "IN YOUR FACE"....
