I never understood why he only had Esther's name on his arm either until I saw a pic that showed it's actually a HUGE tattoo with Eve's name in them middle and then Clara on top of Eve and Esther on the bottom, which is usually what we see. But yeah, Eve is his wife and Clara is their oldest and Esther is their youngest.
