I am going to a fashion event soon to meet Heatherette. This is my first time going to an event such as this, and I was wondering if you could help me out with some questions.

1) What is the general attire? Dressy? Casual

2) Do you have to buy an item from the designer, even if you dont want to?

I am not sure which kind of fashion event you are attending, but I will try to write what I think...
The Chanel store in our city organizes a couple of events every year. Some are lunch with modeled trunk shows. My experience is that people will mostly wear clothes from the designer's latest collection, but it's very likely that you wear the same outfit as others. So I would either wear nice clothes from a different designer, or wear the designer's clothes in a creative way. Enjoy

heatherette s fun so make sure u dress fun nothin serious looking at all. and no u don t have to be wearing the designer s clothes. if u have them then good, wear them but u don t really have to. just like u don t have to buy an item if u don t want to.

thanks very much lolita since heatherette is very fun, I made this outfit to wear to the event; but do you think it looks too outrageous? (the belt will go around the jeans)
