Fashion Week Schedules S/S 10

I can't express how boring the New York Schedule looks. Can we not just skip a week to London!!! I can't wait for those Burberry trenches!!!

Gargh. Chado on Saturday, Donna on Monday and Klein on Thursdayayay so spaced outtt

I can't wait for Rodarte (15th September!), Preen, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Yigal Azrouel, Erin Wasson, Altuzarra, Alexander Wang, Thakoon, Halston, Peter Som, Proenza Schouler, Anna Sui and Phi.

Possibly Marc Jacobs, Narciso Rodriguez, Calvin Klein, Derek Lam and Toni Maticevski, too.

If I'm being honest, I don't really care about the others (some of them are very boring). But I'm excited for Rodarte alone.

Gosh i couldnt find Rodarte anywhere online, on any schedule!! I was freakin out! I love Rodarte! So thanks post #135 for saying that you were excited for Rodarte on the 15th! Where did you find that information out? Thank you so much!

Thanks, I didn't even know that site existed
Watched the last 3-4 min of Herve.

the coverage is utter crap but better than nothing. DVF will start any time soon.

^ thank you for that! I'm watching it now, it's a little frustrating  but it'll get there soon.

Ohh, didn't know about a live-stream! Thanks a lot for the link :flower:

Yep, it was nice, pretty similar to last SS. Hair was exactly the same with the flowers on, about make up I couldn't see. It was a pretty short show though.

A little hint for the Marc Jacobs show!
So glad to hear it!

At the MTV Video Music Awards last night we pressed Lorenzo Martone for hints on fiancé Marc Jacobs’s show, hitting the runway tonight. Lorenzo noted that he is not an employee of Marc Jacobs, Inc., but he did drop a hint: “I think Marc is really tired of the rock-and-roll thing, so it’s going to be very romantic. So: ruffles and prints and very kind of sweet.” He also says the show will be celebrity-free again this season, although Marc and V magazine are co-hosting the after-party for Lady Gaga. As for whether the show will start on time, Lorenzo is guessing along with the rest of us: “Hopefully on time. He has been on time in the past two seasons!”

I can't wait for Rodarte to show today personally. Then it's a bit of a wait to see Proenza Schouler, but that's all I watch from New York generally.
