Disaronno. The Liquer. I hope both that I spelled right and that I am not being irresponsible. The pictures pack an Eighties punch and carry a Twenty-First century sensibility. All the liquor ads are quick, speedy and rapid..........and I am only referring to the advertising.
Who likes Missoni with Giselle with almost cinnamon colored hair! I like it! I am glad that Lancome went with Aoki (as demonstrated by PradaPrincess' avatar). I think Lancome should add a blonde to their roster and I think that blonde should be Schiffer.
no no no :? not schiffer for lancome please... never, never ever
best lancome girl 'till yet is -by far- isabella rosselini
lancome -plus every other beauty brand- have to "do" either an erin o connor type of girl or erin herself...
(ha ha ha)
You are right, Lena, I agree. Erin O'Connor is perfection for Lancome. But don't you think a full-cheeked Amy Lemons would cut it? (Sort of like Semonovskaia did for Dior). Maybe even Eva Hertizgova or a Van DerWahl lookalike.
i find them too 'common' in a model-y way, thats it .
the rising atmosphere is -once more- personality, elegance in an old fashioned way, older age, fake lady-like with a touch of light irony... you know, a bit of Erin o Connor-ish.
other brilliant choices for lancome:Charlote Gainsbourg, Jane Birkin or Charlotte Rambling (adorable all of them)
sweet&sexy, beautiful&empty are a bit passe i think.
The DKNY Milla/Jeremy Irons ad campaign really made my loins groove if you know what I mean.

In sheer emotional/physical reaction that's my favorite, but for practicality, my favorite is the IMac campaign that is nothing but amazing quotes from top-notch reviewers. There's no need for them to hype their own product as everyone else has already done it for them and in words so flattering, nothing they could ever say could top it.
Mena really looks great in that ad you posted ,Prada!
I like the Vuitton adds(fairy ones are cute!),Absolut ads,Deux de Delvaux ads ,Burberry with kate and Dior ads..
Although I generally prefer more "macabre" campaigns, for whatever reason this past year I very much liked the colorful Louis Vuitton Featured Model of the Month series . Apart from the brilliant and pure hues, the tone was often shadowy yet romantic melodrama. I really loved many of these images, and although I couldn't find it to share here, my favorite was the Poisoned Apple shot. Instead I've included two others featuring Kate Moss and Trish Tilberg (another of my favorites from the series).
Back to my darker side , now I'm really looking forward to the upcoming season's Alexander McQueen campaign. One of the all-time best presentations is for his FW'2001 RTW collection. Watch the video by following the links on this page.
I really like the creepy campaign for Alexander McQueen. I don't know how well it will work as a marketing technique, but it is sort of disturbing/beautiful.
Love prada's campaign too (hurrah for naughty librarians!).
things I thought didn't work- Versace (and I love Linda Evangelista), ralph lauren (looked like someone trying to ape Ralph Lauren advertising) and the winner is (for the millionth consecutive year!
St. John!
the ego of that woman! I love the man-props. And she can't ever have another female model in the picture. ever. because 23 year old men simply can't get enough of kelly lying Odalisque near a location of Great Beauty.
