I have way too many favourite ads, not too sure of all the seasons...

Here are some,

Love love love the simplicity of this ad, the clothes spoke for themselves and the girl's exquisitly simple poses complemented them so well

Oscar De La Renta S/S 06 with Liya Kebede by McDean?

No explanation needed, the two greats collaborations are always gold :)

Not my two favourite models but the styling and the coquette-ness of the girls is so eye-catching here

Yves Saint Laurent (2001/2002?) with Liya Kebede by Steven Meisel

YSL Rive Gauche (2003?) with Adina Fohlin and Julia Stegner by McDean?

gotta agree with m.j. 90's C.K. campaigns still being fresh looking them now like they got such a personality that time cannot erase...
its like you see some personality through the models or something...

Theres a lot of campaigns that are all following the same aka they don't pick up much your attention... they become another add at the mag...

Some remarkable campaigns also where the ones of Guess with the pin-up style since their first times when that wasn't as popular as now...they rescue some 50s glamour

I also think how a model can make a campaign really impact like how Kate Moss does when she appear in different campaigns more than a model she looks like a chameleon fitting different lives you actually believe no matter you have seen her face one million of times... she makes that which i think is rare...almost unique.

Gemma for YSL FW 04

I don't know why, but I always felt the team totaly failed to play hommage to Opium atmosphere ... and Gemma was not good for that campain - but she was one of the It girl at that moment ... so ...

Spike, you def. chose the BEST Versace campain of all this decade ! that campain was genius !

I thought she was perfect for YSL Opium theme. So young, beautiful and alien for that whole universe... like in a way Tom was to YSL.

I also love the fact that it was the first time when Tom Ford did not try or bother to suck up to Yves with his model choice. Gemma would make YSL shudder with terror if he were still designing. She was so not YSL... in any way.
