Favorite Guilty Pleasure Films?

which reminds me
which one did tom play,
cruise i mean

The Notebook - cloyingly sacharrine and cliched......but a real tear-jerker.

The Die Hard movies...I don't know what it is about them, I'm like a kid with a barney video.

Transformers: the Movie
It's like a male chick flick, what with the death of Optimus Prime and his passing of the Autobot Matrix of Leadership to Ultra Magnus . Then there's the whole coming of age story angle with that slacker Hot Rod (aka Rodimus Prime) becoming their new leader when nobody expects him to ever amount to anything :boxer:...
It's also funny when the Decepticons are fighting amongst themselves on that shuttle to determine who their new leader will be.
Leonard Nimoy and Orson Welles contribute their vocal talents in this one.

GI Joe: the Movie :bounce:
Two words: Sergeant Slaughter. What's not to love?
Don Johnson, Burgess Meredith, and the immortal Sergeant Slaughter participate.

Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea :stuart:
Watched these in English class when I was in junior high. Both are sappy, but I like 'em anyway for some odd reason.

I loved the 80's. They don't make cartoons like that (Transformers or GI Joe) anymore.

Labrynth!!

I love this movie, but there's NO WAY I would call it cheesy. That's a truly good movie and, probably, the best in it's genre (objectively ;) ).

Kate and Leopold is great also.

And, Yeah, it was Clueless for me also when I was younger as well as Cats the Aristocrats cartoon.

Spice World :ninja:

I *LOVED* this movie...remember watching it in Singapore w/ my dad, eh back then it was quite common in Asia for young boys to be into that kinda stuff, I remember seeing quite a few and not just female teenyboppers. I had the hugest crush on Posh Spice back then (wayy before she became the obnoxious "Victoria Beckham.") I also loved Baby Spice.

I remember going to the record store when Spice Girls' first album came out, i picked up a copy of Prodigy's "Fat of the Land" album to hide the Spice Girls CD i'd put under it...but I just couldn't get over myself and was too embarassed to go to the check out counter, I was pacing around the 'new releases' section for literally 2 hours, finally i got my friend to buy the CD for me the next day.

I love Miss Conginiality, Miss Conginiality II, Legally Blonde, Legally Blonde II, Mean Girls, Clueless, Never Been Kissed, and all of those movies. None of them are guilty pleasures for me (except Legally Blonde II, but who can't help but love a movie where the heroine is confident to wear a bright pink suit?!?) Since I'm 15, I can get away with loving those movies. I'm supossed to.
My true guilty pleasures are movies like Gentleman prefer blondes, and disney movies. I'm addicted to Disney movies.

Mine would have to be Clueless...:innocent:

And for some reason I enjoy Goldie Hawn movies...
