Favourite football / Soccer team

Damn I start supporting Arsenal and they go loose   Maybe I'm unlucky with football stuff...? I wonder if Serena knows of this

Tottenham Hotspur, Real Madrid (but I lost a little respect when David Bekham had to join), Brasil

Please don't start supporting Rangers then. We've just started winning again!

YES!!! Wasn't he the one who scored on the wrong goal on his first match? :innocent:

I laughed so much when Woodgate joined. I though it was a late April fool or something:lol::lol:

Yep, scored an own goal and then was permanently (well, almost) injured.

Maybe it's just me but I felt Real went on a decline when the defence started crumbling with the departure of Hierro.

oh no, hierro was the worst part of the defence imo :yuk: (in his last years of course)

Hierro was the best!I was so mad when Del Bosque and Hierro left. Anyway, I think media makes a big drama about the Real Madrid, you know they are on the second position(or maybe third depends) and only the Barca is doing better.

^ Yeah I know! (nods vigourously to comment on Hierro & Del Bosque)

BTW, there used to be this fantastic site www.thebeautifulgame.org but it's no longer available. It had a lot of funny stuff in it like baby pics of footballers, silly quotes from managers and footballers, "love story" between Pippo and Bobo ... pics included, etc. Anyone knows what happened?

The unluckiest player ever in history. Period. Banned in Newcastle and 2002 World Cup due to some incident in a night club, signed for Madrid and became injured for 17 months. Just when he was about to make his debut, an injury setback in training sidelined him. Then finally his debut in September 2005. Own goal in first half then red carded. Third game he scores another spectacular own goal. :woot: Then he gets injured again for a while...Good to see he's doing better now.

As for the Gunners...We're done and over this season. We have to win the Champions League or Henry's gone and we have no hopes of attracting a good replacement due to no Champs League next season

note: i'm not laughing at woodgate's bad luck, i'm laughing at amphrosyne's comment - well maybe i am laughing a bit at him... :innocent:

There was also the 'incident' in Leeds with him and Bowyer. That's why I don't like him!

I forgot his red cards! Him and Bowyer ... quite a notorious twosome IMHO.

^ yes bowyer and woodgate. It was a horrible attack. The kid was unconscious and had like a broken leg and face. Sometimes you can't just help think Woodgate deserved his rather unlucky footballing career thus far.
