Favourite football / Soccer team

My thoughts are with those who lost their lives, families and friends at Hillsborough
Love & condolences to all who were touched by this tragedy from
a life-long born & bred Manchester Utd fan (but today my heart is with the other Reds)

Its been a bittersweet day for me, I'm happy that Chelsea won, but sad that Real Madrid won, they played really well though.

the race is not over yet, their is still plenty of season.

drogba could get injured in the next game and then where would they be.

liverpool *sigh* big fan, but what an unlucky season.
if it's not obvious by now, Liverpool can't win without Torres and/or Gerrard on the pitch. and the level of play between the starting 11 and the bench is worlds apart. they need another quality striker. David Villa would be ace, but i doubt Rafa can pay what Valencia want for him.

His Armband proved he was a red,
Torres! Torres!
You'll Never Walk Alone it said,
Torres! Torres!
We bought the lad from sunny Spain,
He gets the ball he scores again,
Fernando Torres!
Liverpool's number 9!

not the best Clásico, (remembers last year's clasicos) but we got the job done.

Cule since I was a tiny lad.

but our current team is reaching something beyond 'Galactico'

midfield is the best there is, our trident is not working as well as last year but still lethal enough and with Pedrito and Bojan helping out we are good enough, defense can be shaky at times, but with Captain Puyol cleaning up the mess i'm happy, even Valdes has been making me proud. Still
not as good as Saint Iker, but getting better.

Chelsea may win the Premier League, but the Champions is ours.

O le le, o la la, ser del Barça es, el millor que hi ha!!!

^how can you be soo sure :shifty:
I feel like you guys are too confident, just like ManU fans for this year's finale, better wait and see than talk, you might give your team bad luck :innocent:

I don't think its true that we can't win w/o Gerrard and Torres we have proved before that we can win games w/o them. The main problem this season has been that our player of the season for last year and our best holding midfielder Xabi Alonso left us for Real Madrid along with our most solid fullback Álvaro Arbeloa. Together with the fact that we spent the money we got from Alonso's sale on a crocked injury prone player who hasn't played a game for us yet ... meaning that the genius of Lucas has to fill Alonso's boots .

But i do agree with you about the bench, its just not good enough.

Rafa is looking for a new striker in the January window .LFC is beeing linked with Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Diego Forlan (two ex-Man United players)...now wouldn't that be ironic considering Michael Owen has recently moved to Manchester United :innocent:.

Yeah so Real Madrid lost El Clasico yet again...not that surprising all and all but with this squad better results would be needed. Blame it on Pellegrini I think, he just cant use such an amazing group of stars. In theory RM is the best team in world but somethings off!

In theory Argentina is the best team in the world, but look how we struggled to qualify to the world cup. And Maradona still refuses to quit! *sigh*

Not all Pellegrini's fault. Kaka has been struggling since last year, the defense needs to be patched, Iker Casillas is a WALL, midfield is better than last season but still not fluid. madrid struggles without Ronaldo. if they give pelligrini enough time, he could make it work, look at what he did at Villareal. or he could get sacked and be replaced by the Special one in December. Egos everywhere.

i love fútbol because of the surprises, the upsets, (see Alcorcon humiliating real madrid in la Copa del Rey) unless it's my team, of course, but you can't win them all.

Barça could have a bad game in the Champions so you never know.
We are pretty consistent though, even without are superstars. we work as a team, and i'm very confident in our bench.

the premiere league is not over yet. Anyone but Man U or Chelsea. But look at where Liverpool is now. 2 points behind arsenal. :innocent:
