I'm not usually a Tisci fan but I liked that dress that had the long train with almost, like, a bridge support from the back from a while ago (someone's bound to post it).
the moment that made me sit up and take notice his work at givenchy came during that spring/summer 2009 menswear and fall/winter 2008 couture showings. he sort of hit a new stride creatively and consolidated the creative vision of givenchy as a whole. what strikes me about these bubblegum -- shocking pink, we were calling it -- looks came in how we saw it absolute INVADE the runways six month later.
Is it only Givenchy by Tisci or Givenchy in general? I adore Fall/Winter 2001 Haute Couture collection by Julien Macdonald, that's how I wish Givenchy looked like.
^if we're talking about all time, it's only fitting to remember the glorious work alexander mcqueen turned out for that house. my favorite givenchy collection of all time featured all of that white and gold work....
