My Great-Grandfather worked for the Czar (he was Latvian btw) before the First World War. I first saw this picture a few years ago. I think it's of officers of the czars army, but beyond that I don't know much about it. To me it just seems so exotic and interesting. Every officer looks so different. Each officer wears a different uniform. If you zoom in, you can study each face.
