The YSL shoe is called the Now Look ...its not the ankle version but more bootie. i just got on the list for that. Its $695.

I love the Mcqueen Wedge too.....they aren't ordering them though

yea they are great, my mom is on the list too for both the bootie and ankle boot versions, the shape is seriously perfect. it reminds me a bit of last falls prada boots (which are gorge as well) but a bit more refined.

Feather pumps are TDF.
Mc Queen is the star of the fall season IMO. I love everthing.

Along with his stuff I think Chloe and YSL are going to be a big hit. Gucci ostrich pumps are nice but the metal platform is tacky

Gucci platform shoes

i just came back from the gucci trunk show and the platform shoes are actually very pretty IRL, especially the lizard skin and ostrich-claw-skin ones. i couldn't help myself, but i preordered the ostrich claw skin one (pic below, elle.com). SO PRETTY! the color is sooooo beautiful and so is the leather. so exotic!

the other platform shoes i saw were the open toe with ankle straps. they had the black patent glitter, red patent glitter, and the all gold ones. they looked really nice on the feet. they had a bunch of the closed-toe pumps in different leather and variations.

i totally didn't expecct myself to like any of the gucci shoes, so i guess since i walked in with low expectationss i was pleasantly surprised by their beauty. IMO the best ones to get are the lizard or ostrich-claw skin ones.

edit: the gold on the platform is very pretty and is hardly shiny at all against the carpeted floor. i think on the runway photos the models were walking on a shiny runway so it makes the platform super shinier. against normal floor, the gold is not tacky at all, as i have seen some TSFers commenting on.
