Yes, but someone wanted to see more of her runway work. I thought I would post it here. I am sure Naomi Campbell has a thread as well. I didn't know I couldn't post Noemie in here

Yeah she sure does, but I don't post alot of her here, especially no more than several other models. It's called trying to even it up. Even though she & are few others have earned the right.

Don't worry scriptgirl I really appreciated it:cry:  I saved most of those pictures!

OMIFAN I'm a little confused- are you against biracial models being posted about here? I just want to be clear on your rules. I'm half-Asian and if someone said I wasn't a 'real' Asian person or not as important as other Asian people I'd be absolutely devastated:blink:

Honestly, since people are voicing their opinions/what they think is right. Here is mine. I'm Absolutely not against bi-racial models, if so I wouldn't have posted Kara Young,Brandi Quinones,Claudia Mason and so fourth. It's that this shouldn't be turned into a bi-racial thread! I mean it is for african-blackmodels so lets not leave them out! If you and scripgirl want to talk of bi-racial models, than why not start a thread?! Celebrate their beauty as well. All the talk of is this person this or that was getting kinda annoying, and the comments(like quadroon) are really something to be crushed about:doh:. I'm not alone on that. And I think many of us would like & it would be more fair too, to not have tons of photos on one or two girls, epecially when they have a thread IMO. I love certain girls but would never post tons of photos of them on a page or two. Just cause it gets boring and isn't fair to other models/tastes.

I think you really misunderstood what was going on. I never wanted to make the thread about biracial models.

I asked about ONE particular biracial model, and another person commented on wanting to see more of Noemie. I think that's in pretty innocent intention!

I think we really misunderstood each other, so seriously I apologize.

I would NEVER endorse the 'quadroon' comment please don't lump me in with behaviour like that :(

There was more racial talk than Noemie, but it wasn't you I don't think. Nor did you say the quadroon thing. That was ridiculous. And I just don't think its fair to give a girl like pages of photos like back to back. If so than that's for like the Legends, or someone without a thread IMO. We go back to the 90s thread,Oolie so I don't have a problem with you! But don't say I have issues with people that I don't. It's just that if thats the new direction than do it in another more fitting threadB).

I agree that this thread should be kept diverse with many pics of different models, not a lot of the same one. Noemie has her own great thread for folks that want to see her pics, so it's just keeping with the nature of the thread. I don't think any hard feelings are behind it. :flower:

I just read an article about Gail and how she got discovered in an airport. She has a college degree in English!

An airport?! Either I never knew or forgot. I always knew she was very smart, I want to know if she is interesting in teaching or something. Can you imagine her being your English 101 teacher?

It was an article I had saved, you probably posted it or someone on the 80s board. She said she was running to catch some flight, and got discovered. And she wanted to be a midwife at the time. And she went to Wesleyan! I love hearing about smart, educated Balck models. Iman, Veronica, Gail!

I think Liya and Yasmin have some college education, too!

Tyra makes a big deal about how she was accepted to several colleges, but turned them down.

Yeah, but I think it's easier for them to do it down the road after their careers. B/C most topmodels start in their teens, which is before college. I understand that side too, if they don't have the chance to b/c of their careers start before people begin talking/thinking college. As long as they education themselves someway(not always by going to school). Instead of just being dolls.

I know Liya started being a topmodel late, right?! Which helps your personal development. Don't know about Yasmin and the time she had/has. And Tyra well no comment,;)did you check out the Supermodel quotes thread?! Oh, did they have fun with her.
