Alek is the only one who managed to look great on the Ebony cover. Iman's pose is really awkward and Kimora & Tyra look out of place. You wouldn't even guess they were once models ..

Ebony stated that they were called,but they couldn't show up b/c of prior engagements,they even said Naomi was out of the country all together...its like they had to apologize for making the cover they way they did,jokes. Naomi already got her 'fashion/beauty' cover well over 10 years ago,but I wish they would do something with Liya!

Lana Ogilvie, Noemie Lenoir, Tomiko Fraiser. A lot of the real beauties prior to the mid-90s missed out because they weren't giving out contracts to Blacks then. And a few big names didn't get any. Naomi, and I believe Yasmeen and Linda didn't have a beauty contract either.

I'm surprised no one has given Denise Vasi one. Her face/eyes are beautiful, ideal for a beauty contract. So should Yasmin Warsame.

Agreed plus I know it was a matter of money fairness with Naomi & Revlon. Yasmin Warsame,sad Revlon didn't pick her up after those gorgeous promotions she did for them.
