Fendi F/W 06.07 Milan

I really like the black leather jacket with the puff/slit sleaves.

I'm loving this collection so far...very elegant and feminine. I am not a fan of the fur either. Can't wait to see more photos! :)

i love all the fur in this collection; its the best part. I really appreciate iyemstoopid's comment, because even though he doesen't like fur he can see some of the value and the quality of the fur peices.

i have to admit, i do like how the fur is used and the way it looks on the individual pieces. i just feel bad for the furry critters. i'm no saint though - i do eat meat, wear leather, yada yada...

Wow I love this collection it is a turnaround..the venue the models everything. I think its realy fresh and new! I dunno y everyone complains about Fendi and the fur. After all it started as a fur salon LOL

^ Fur and leather salon Im sure. I recall when Lagerfeld did the collection where the seams were finished in leather (soo useless since noone but the wearer will know that there is any leather)

I looove this bag, it looks like a chic mace, elegant violence. I would so carry this bag.

that´s known in fashion as "hidden luxury" Diorling ;).

i love all that i have seen so far from this collection, it´s modern yet wearable, i love the mixture of shapes, techniques and materials and the fur work totally stood out as usual in Fendi.

why you think the dogs from china?? :ninja:

because not so long ago Paul Mcartney´s wife released an investigation who showed that in China, a country with no fur farm regulations at all, kills dogs and cats and make coats with their fur, without mentioning some videos released by peta showing how foxes are skined alive for their fur, in China, of course, fortunatelly Fendi furs do not come from China, they come from saga furs, the worlds fines fur producer, and France recently aproved a new law forbidding the sales of dog or cat fur in their country.

that´s so cruel... it should be prohibited... poor animals!!...

clothes look very good as well in other types of material...

I like it so far, it's kind of hard edged but also kind of soft and pretty....the furs look the best they have in some time (well, f/w 04, as Diorling mentioned)

i really like it but i am a little bias, am i the only one that sees a little pilati in these clotes, otherwise they are really cool.

LOL I knew the fur didnt come from China in the 1st place, but is Fendi made in Italy or France? I know that LVMH (french) owns them...but i dunno...Also who does Saga supply to? Any other major lines?

its made in Italy.

Saga as any other fur manufacturer work in auctions, ugh... i wouldn´t know how to explain it because im not totally sure, but they auction the furs in lots of several equal skins, is not like saga makes the coats as far as i know, they bought the pelts and then they sew them, if soemone else knows the story better please do explain it for me.

i know or i suppose they work with almost every famous designer because they post runway pictures of their fur garments in www.sagafurs.com and because sometimes during the fall ad campaigns the ones that feature fur for gaultier or versace (ones that i´ve seen) have an small saga fox or saga mink logo on them indicating they come from them, wich is like saying we are offering you the best fur in the world.
