I don't see it as a positive either way since I'm very anti-fur. Nonetheless, I like the bags. I also love Natasha's dress. That fabric with the baubles is awesome!

After looking over the whole collection on Style.com, it's an excellent collection, light as a puff of air, full of fresh silhouettes and kimono inspired cuts. There are a couple of annoyances, the cocktail length dress he added a train to and a leather puff sleeve coat. It is a tad Pilati, but in a new direction, very Lagerfeld. I adore the bags, esp that bucket bag...

Can we please get over the furs? OMG they use fur, I hate it all. I appreciate the use of fur but it is always in a shapeless coat, or a trim on a coat or what-have-you. They're not really making a case for it anymore.

oh our fur is "fox fur" thats bs, truth is they have a mass market so what they do is skin racoon dogs from china and this is no lie, obviously they will say ohh our fur is mink and what not thats bs, because hey they have to make profits ,also its sad because people dont know any better, those animals are skinned alive. Again those are beautiful clothes but they came frame beautiful animals. Peta people may seem like idiots but if you see the evidence they had you would be shocked..just an opinion.

I agree. It just feels like a good balance, like it's a collection that makes sense and makes me want to wear it, and it's not trying so hard to be something, like so many of the Milan collections so far.

It the most outstanding collection in Milan week, however I can feel STEFANO PILATI spirit in some of the clothes ....as if it is a continues to YSL last fall collection...?

& compare it to this.....

I feel the same structure & outlines with a change in colors & details, & that leopard belt is everywhere this summer at YSL with tulip skirt & wide waist belts??????

In all the collections featured fur in Milan,Fendi is the most gorgeous collection. It is one of my favorite!
btw, Milan FW shows look better than the previous Milan SS06 shows, IMHO. Do you agree?
Etro had a strong collection as well. I loved the prints. I'm wondering if anybody will start a thread for that

I think this may be my favorite milan show. Although overall I liked s/s so much better, theres just so much fabulous clothes this season that I could see myself wearing. I know f/w is supposed to be dark, but it still looks so depressing to me.

wow this is pretty monumental. I can't really belive Karlita designed this.... some of it (like that armour bag) is a little odd, but hey, odd isn't that bad at the time of universal blandness!
