Fendi Spy Bag

As promised to Pucci, here are some pics of me posing with my petrol spy bag. Sorry the picture quality is so crummy: my camera is sensitive to motion and my dear fiance is out sick with a head cold and couldn't be of assistance. As you can see, even the medium spy bag is HUGE. But I think it would look good on you Pucci. :flower:

that's the EXACT same problem I had!!!!! i had it happen to TWO of them... and i returned them both. if you live near a fendi boutique, i'd suggest you go there to have them look at it... if you're near a big fendi boutique they may be able to take care of it for you instore, otherwise, chances are barney's will probably just send it off to the manufacturer to get it fixed.

well, it happened. The clasp on my "lipstick holder" compartment (not that any lipstick could really fit in there) doesn't stay closed. Anybody else have this happen? Do I take it to Barneys, where I got it, or straight to the Fendi boutique???

I'm not talking about the bigger clasp on the bigger "purse" compartment, but the end flap on the dangly braided piece.

Wow, how long after you had them did they break meowmix? Did you use that compartment a lot?

Greendrv!!!

:bounce:

The bag just looks sooooo good on you, it's perfect!

Thanks so much for posting pictures, you are SO lucky to have it, I can't wait to get mine.

Did I tell you how amazing it looks on you?!!:woot:

Greendrv.. nice petrol..looks so good w. jeans.. nice hat too!

yea, my clasp on the big pocket is also iffy.. but I won't be near a Fendi boutique for a while I think.. It's a pain, but it's safer to put you wallet inside the bag.

My brother temped in the Fendi concession in an Irish department store a couple of weeks ago and he said the amount of returns they had was unreal - seems like the quality was pretty poor. And it wasn't just on their cheaper bags, they had plenty of expensive ones returned too.

When I got mine, I thought the "lipstick" compartment seemed fragile, and figured I'd make a point not to use it. I use the other "coin purse" pocket for my cell phone, so it doesn't get scratched by my keys, etc.

Do you have to pay anything (i.e. shipping) for your bag to be fixed? Ick.

on one...about 3 days...
on the other.. a couple of weeks.

i used the compartment for keys and cell phone...

Meowmix and everyone - I fixed it myself with en eyeglasses repair kit!!!! On the side of the little fendi flap there's a hinge with a little screw - the teeny screwdriver tightened it right up. Good as new. Yay. I can't believe I almost gave up my bag for weeks to have this fixed.

Wait. Meow, if you put the cellphone in it, we're talking about a different compartment. This is the teeny little 3/4 inch flap on the end of the braided piece, not the little purse thingie that can actually hold things. And btw, I never used this compartment, but it really would've bugged me to have lid flapping open.

ahhh okay i know what your'e talking about now... mine is that little pouch part and it kept flipping open. i don't think it could have been fixable because it wasn't really tighten-able... it was more of a design issue i think

beautiful!

but wow, it is huge! ...or you are tiny! ;)

Ha! I wish I was tiny! :D Thanks drel and dreamland. That's the great thing about carrying a big bag; it makes you look thin by comparison. Just to give some perspective, I'm 5'6" and weigh 135-140 lbs. And yeah, I love my hat -- it's probably the best purchase I made for F/W 05.

Love the Petrol, Greendrv. And I'm looking for a similar cap such as yours.

I never used the "lipstick" compartment either, and it still started flapping open. But now we know... it can be repaired with a $2.00 eyeglasses repair kit. Who knew?

Hey greendr. Is medium bigger than normal size Spy bags? I think it says S for small on my tags. Yours does look a lot bigger than mine (hehe :p)

Greendv, Loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee your style with the fendi bag...its just soo "chic n' hip"" love it love it love it...looks great on you...

Pucci, I hope you get urs soon :) I am sure it will look without doubt stunning on you:)
