Hi all, Called the Fendi outlet today to see if they got any Spys in discontinued colors and was told they sell out in every color so they won't be getting any till they aren't hot anymore. Also told me that they WILL be getting Spy Satchels and Hobos which really aren't in demand. Their prices are good there too. When the Baugettes were popular I was buying the fancier ones for 80% off of retail. Even had some plain ones for like 80-90 dollars. The leather bags usually stay in the 50-60% off price range. The stuff they carry is usually 1-2 seasons behind.

It has all the care cards and etc with receipt from fendi singapore but somehow the leather seems wierd and it kinda looks fake to me...so question is...what are some of the telling signs that my bag is a fake? thanks for all you help in advance!

the spy looks authentic. I checked the feedback and most of the handbags sold have a private listing which makes me wonder. Why are those private and others not? Get some other opinions.

the leather doesn't seem real...nor do the handles. It looks like it was just painted green (the handles i mean)...

the leather seems too smooth and definitely looks synthetic. but the thing is it has the receipt and all the care tags...let me know what you guys think!​

i envision that white wisteria a nightmare to keep clean

The white Wisteria is absolutely gorgeous! But I totally agree with LilyGirl that it'd be a PAIN to keep clean...

I'm not really sure...but my guess is Fendi is using the same lamb/nappa leather for the white wisteria, which is natural & untreated leather. While the colored Spys could discolor/fade, a white Spy might be stained with colors from clothes/denims

stiletto, 100% fake. pleather looking leather and it's the wrong shade for the green -- the real green has a blueish tinge to it. also, the real bags will have some variation to the color and not be solid. i can't imagine the price is more than $100 (probably the biggest sign that it's fake)

Stilleto, I really don't think those who bought the real Spys sell the tags & receipts...Though there is a remote possibility that someone who bought a real bag might end up cheating others with fakes bought elsewhere.

I've always wondered how these iOffer crooks manage to get hold of receipts & tags as samples & duplicate them. Could be from eBay where sellers of genuine bags posted pics of the tags/receipts on their eBay listing The last I know of, the fake receipts go for like US$20 each...for any bag. Buyers can even specify the country/boutique to be indicated on the receipt

yes, they sell fake "receipts" on ioffer, just like they sell fake bags. It's hideous. Go do a search and you'll see.

I always thought that the fake manufacturers buy the bags they're replicating in all the different colors/sizes that they're doing to get the proportions better, and duplicate the receipts from those..

I bought my brown spy from Singapore. I still have my care card and receipts from the one and only boutique selling it here. If you could scan it and email or PM to me, I can compare and hopefully tell if the ones you got are genuine.

Or I can check with the Fendi boutique if they ever sold the bag under the receipt no. Then again..she could've kept the genuine bag, gave you a fake one but with the genuine receipts...

Yup! i'm buying it from the DFS Galleria.I live in melbourne... so i'm having it sent in.. i paid for my bag already. I rang up the SA who handles me and asked her about the discolourations and fading.. she said it doesnt happen and they've sold so many cognacs before noone has brought it back or complaint. She did say that the bags arent all the same like the dark browns might come looking almost black.. whilst some are more brown. i just told her to give me the darkest cognac of all of them . Cant wait till next monday!!!

A friend of mine was contacted about her pre-order spy bag from the Rocks store in Sydney on Tuesday 21 February. THe Congac, Honey, and ZUcca/choc brown spy bags arrived this week already I'm so jealous!!
