no... i don't even have any right now! i had the brown python but there was something wrong with it, so i sent it back and i'm waiting on one to come in from italy at the moment.. my black leather one is on its way though

I've seen the chocolate brown, black and cognac in person. I was personally disappointed at the dullness of all of them. But I think I had high expectations for the bag. I adored the cognac from pictures and I saw it several times in person and I tried to convince myself that I loved the color, but I could never do it. I decided on chocolate brown and then saw it in person and I couldn't love it either.

Last night I saw the brown python in person. I had been intrigued because of all the comments here. It was the first time I've touched a python bag and I shuddered running my hands down it. It was impressive to look at though, but I didn't like it cos the spy is a big bag and all that python kind of grossed me out. Sorry, but I guess I'm not an exotic skins kind of girl.

just goes to show that you can't love a bag just because it's hot. I hate to say I feel the same way. I thought the green would be the most interesting of the leather bags and like someone else said on this thread, my reaction to it was more "oh" than "wow". but I still can't seem to part with it even though I'll probably never use it. I think I'm suffering from "it bag-itis" and I need to focus more on bags that really turn me on rather than getting caught up in the chase (which I have to admit is half the fun).

After reading all the comments about this bag and all the hypes that've been going on about this bag I have a very high expectations for the spy bag. I love all the pictures taken from the catwalk all colours & styles look so beautiful. But I hate to say that I was much disappointed after saw the real bags in black, green, cognac and the logo mix leather and the white with green handle none of them have got the 'wow' factor for me. But having say that I still have a hope on the bone colour and will wait to see it in person once the boutique call me that they have the bag in stock.

^k-c - I didn't mention the camel/bone color, but I've seen it and I actually love it. I didn't care much for it in the pictures, but it really grew on me. I'm hoping that I don't kick myself for waiting on it since they had two in stock last time, but my SA is hunting for a pleated one for me. I'm on the green waitlist so I hope that I'll like it.

^daidouji - I hope that I will like the bone colour one otherwise I will spend my money on the silverado dk brown python or the chanel bag I saw in chanel boutique here. The SA can't tell me what the bag called.

I agree the brown python is the best so far followed by the bone/butterscotch color. How odd that the one color I didn't like in the pics (bone) is the best of the leather colors. I did get the dark brown, mostly because I wanted a cool diaper bag to carry this fall/winter and because the black was worse (to me) than the cognac. I really like the contrast in the dark brown handles to the leather of the bag - with the black it's just too boring.

Does anyone have a brown python and how do the skins look? Peeling up? Shiny or Dull? Background skin under scales showing? Any input would be appreciated.

hm i actually disagree, i think that the black looks pretty sleek and understated and makes for a fun 'everyday' kinda bag... i'm a little over that whole rugged "vintagey" look

Im pretty disappointed with all the regular leather Fendi spy bags. I think I would like to get a python one or none at all.

I really like the vintagey look of the dark brown spy bags, they're like the Paddingtons. It fits my lifestyle more than my Chanel and Dior bags (which I hardly use now). I don't want to have to be careful with every bag I carry and as summer approaches, I'm dressing a bit more casually AND they allow me to be a bit less anal. Lately, I find I'm using the spies, Paddingtons, silverados and BV's. I think I'm tired of being "lady-like"......for now....

Me too! I went to the store to pick my green up, and was REALLY dissapointed, not worth the price tag at all.

I would rather save up for a green Devi Kroell.

I saw a cognac today and was even more disappointed than I was with the green. the biggest problem is how uneven the color is, which for some reason looks worse in this color. I hope not all the bags look like this one. I didn't like the light color handles either. and it was the large which is enormous.

I also felt the same way when I got my cognac spy. I was so excited when I ordered it but when I got it I was like - WTF? LOL But I sold out it a friend of mine, and she told me she's in love with the bag. I'm still waiting for ryoko's call (hawaii) if she'll be able to get me the pleated dark brown spy. I'm keeping my fingers crossed
