hey, congrats!! you finally got it! how are you liking the color so far in black? i think i'm still feeling buyers regret and haven't used my bag...i know it's too late to return but i still feel like i should have gotten another color or something...

is it just me, or do you(or anyone with the black) think its kinda dressy or can you wear this with anything?

bagz, I LOVE my black Spy!!!! I carry my bag everywhere regardless what I'm wearing. It looks very classy and yet trendy :flower:
But if you don't LOVE it, you can always resell it and get one in a color that's more suitable to you :)

I think the spy, by virtue of its "airiness" or poufi-ness or flufiness and its substantial size, is not a generally dressy bag. I find that my spys carry me easily from day to night and I can wear them with almost anything!

thanks BB & taitai! glad to know you both enjoy your bags! haven't heard too much feedback on the black spys and that puffiness thingy makes sense about it looking casual... think i'll break it out soon:rolleyes:

I'm pretty sure after you wear it, you'll feel differently. I really started to enjoy the bags once I started using them.

Basic Questions re: Spy Bags

I just happened to realise  how gorgeous and cool the spy bag is when I saw a friend carry one in dark brown last weekend! Sorry if this question is a bit annoying, can someone elaborate how many colors / and in which materials the medium spy bags have been made?? Actually I have been reading this read for many hours but the thread is long, so may be brief will be very helpful! Thanks a million! :flower:

Hey Meena, I am recalling this info off-hand, so there be some parts which are wrong /may have been missed out:

Colours for S/S05: (Leather)dark brown, cognac, black, green
(pleated spy)black, bone
Sequinned spy

Colours for F/W05: Petrol, Cherry Red

Other versions of the medium in different materials for this season include the mink spy, a velvet spy with bows on it, and a velvet spy with embroidered squirrels on it.

A girl who knows nothing about the bags won the auction for $710 dollars!!

Less than retail.. it obviously just makes no sense.

I'm so pissed.

$710 is just too much to pay for a fake! Ridiculous!

Are you able to report the seller back to Ebay instead, on the premise that she is selling fakes?

I did report the auction number 2 days ago
... .then I saw it still up there so I told the buyer not to pay for it.

... when I saw that the seller: atomic_femme reported me to ebay (which makes no sense) I turned around and reported her for selling fradulent items.

Like.. I have no problems buying a fake bag under the premise of KNOWING that it is fake... but selling fake as if it's authentic is horrible ...

Indeed!!! I had the same problem with eBay seller www-fashion-4-less or something and they still owe me EUR 1500 for selling me a fake! They said I could return the bag and they would give the money back. I tried to say I would only send the bag if I got the money first but they were rude and threatening and there was no way they would refund without getting the bag first. So I sent the bag and they stopped replying my emails

Luna, if there isn't a thread already about this, is it okay to start one? I would like to help members who were scammed like me :flower:

what is the difference between the spy that's 2300 and the one that 1100 one has a flap of something and one is newer i herad???? anyway does anyone have pictures of the two so i can compare
thanks

The newer Fendi is the satchel maybe that you're talking about?

The regular spy usually runs around 2000 dollars....

it actually is against eBay rules to try to persuade buyers not to bid (interference with contract, or something). it doesn't surprises me that the seller reported you -- I can imagine situations where sellers spread lies about other selles to sabotage them (obviously not what you were doing, but I imagine there is some good purpose behind this policy). what surprises me is that the buyer you were trying to help ratted you out. no good deed goes unpunished.
