I made the difficult choice of dark brown (or black???) over blue, so will be returning the blue to Bloomingdales Newport Beach this afternoon. The blue has not been used...let me know if I should ask the SA to hold.

2 tone satchel

A little OT, but I didn't think much of the 2 tone satchel bag until I saw an ad in the Sept. W Magazine. The leather for the cognac looks very similar to the leather used in the spy. Has anyone seen it IRL? I'm very intrigued.

Nothing is wrong with the color, the blue is gorgeous...but, I think the brown will look nicer with my black, brown, red, camel, forest green, etc. sweaters/jackets for fall... I am a "basics" girl in this regard...off work I am in demin and Prada sweaters.

it's called the "bag it" and I don't like it. but fendi can't hit it out of the ballpark every time. eluxury has them.

SoCal, I think you made the right choice of brown over black. someone on this board posted that she bought a black spy and never uses it because it's a little boring.

I agree. It's almost like having a wood grain and painting it black. The brown brings out the texture of the leather. (Although I think the blue is pretty, too. If money were no object....)

I called barneys to see if any of them had the spy. After the 10% off w/ barneys account, no tax, and the $100 less than saks price it would have saved me about $450. Barneys Bervely hills and seattle had the black if anyone is looking for that, but no one had the blue. Oh well. I talked to my brother and he's loaning me the $$, I cant WAIT to get it in. I'm so excited.

I'm actually getting the blue from saks, I'm paying a good amount more but I think it's worth it. I really considered the black, but I think the blue fits into my style better.

teal fendi spy bag

HI everyone!!!

Leshent on ebay is a trusted seller. THere were some posts a while back on whether he is or not and he is.

I bought a teal/petrol fendi bag from him in early August. It was/is authentic-- I even went to the fendi boutique and compared it to the smaller spy bag version. Same color and everything. I am so glad I got it.

About the color blue-- Most of the clothes I wear are neutral, so I definitely am happy I got the blue. Also it livens up any outfit. It goes perfect with jeans-- same dark blue color, just a little green. I have been wearing the bag with a coral shawl/jacket and they go really well together. The texture is so soft, yet "rough" looking and bumpy. I couldn't be more pleased with it.
