Fendi Spy Bag

What do you think of the gold python....I'll be getting mine this week. And how huge is huge?? Thanks :)

Keep in mind this is my very first python bag.

I LOVE the gold, not too much bling yet it blings just right. Hope you can follow that one. The gold python is significantly bigger than the other sizes of the spy bag, including the brown croc. I am 5'4", I don't think the bag is so big that I won't want to carry it. I will also choose when and where to take it though. I live in Vegas, I am never far from home so there is no need for me to carry my life inside the bag!

The bag does seem delicate, and I am scared to even touch it yet! I suppose that will come with time, I am paranoid of hurting it! I will post some pics tomorrow.

I have a few python silverados, including the gold, so I am used to a bit of bling:) in my bags!! I didn't realize it was sized differently than the others, though. I can't wait to see your pics!! What do you think of the color of the handles?? Are they significantly lighter in color than the bag itself?? It seems the pics of these bags have been most disceiving in that the cognac was rather dull and lifeless in person compared to catalog pics and now other posters are saying the green has more blue in it than the catalog pics showed. I started to wonder about the pics of the gold python as well and was preparing myself to be disappointed....

The best way to describe the handles is to imagine a "true" gold tone. It is significantly brighter than the rest of the bag! I think this is the part that adds to the bling factor. The size I would describe is almost twice the size of the other spy bags...

I have the green spy, and I think that it has been represented pretty accurate. I LOVE the green, and plan to use this as an everyday bag! I don't see ANY blue to the bag, imagine the green as a forest green.

that's really odd that the python would be sized differently than the other spys -- I thought there was just a medium and large. as for the green, the SA described is as "grass green." I expected it to be more of a forest green, but it's lighter.

Look at the pictures posted of the green before in the thread... The seller called those pictures pretty accurate, and is quite light.

Specially compared to the catalogue pictures. Which I think is more spinach-green.

Also those pictures are lighter compared, to the shade that Mischa has been seen carrying.

Shaymus! I thought you were getting the brown python? Have you heard anyh more about it? And congrats on your gold one...

I am so frustrated. I have been trying to post pics for the past 2 hours, I keep getting an error message "broken pipe" ? I will try again in the morning.

I can't/couldn't decide between the python brown and the croc brown. I am expecting a call within the next week. It will be one of those have to see it, and oogle it before I buy!

I love the green and the gold....I think I may let them sleep between me and the hubby tonight!!

Hi everyone, this is my first post, I hope I'm doing it correctly. Congrads on all your beautiful python bags, they are truly gorg! I just wanted to share my excitement on buying the cognac lambskin yesterday. I really like the color, I needed a chocolate bag and this fit the bill. It's true that the color is a little more flat than pictured, but the handles are beautifully varigated in texture and color which is a nice contrast to the dark bag. The color is also more light in the folds and I have a feeling it will wear in well. I got it at the instore Fendi boutique at a branch of Bloomies (outside NYC), it was the only one, they were just putting it on the shelf , and get this--15% off for the Bloomies private sale! Score:D! I wish I could budget the snake, but not this season, I hope you all love your bags when they come! Thanks for all the great reading!

I have tried since late last night to post pics of both the gold and green bag! I really wanted you all to see the difference in size.

I am retracting my earlier statement about not seeing ANY blue in the green bag. My sister came over and we decided that the handles are more like a hunter green with the leather falling between a hunter green and a turqouise. When you look at the pics from the catalog they do depict the green you see, it is only after staring at it for hours that I now see a tiny bit of blue. Trust me, if you're a green lover this bag is the one.
