i have the green spy and i would like to get the new red spy. (metallic?) i just called the Fendi shop in my country. they said they still have the gold python spy in stock now and will be able to order the new FW bag on September.

I was wondering how long you guys tink the teal will avalible for? I'm not really liking all the fur/shearling/metallic/embroidering in the new fall bags, I'm hoping they'll have some nice all leather ones for spring if I dont end up getting the teal.

I need to save up for about 2-3 months, but I think this may be my next bag. The only thing I'm concerened about is the size, that it may be too big as I am pretty short. I would love to see pics of how the spy looks on the shoulder to get a better idea of the size

Please please help~~!!!! I signed up to the forum specifically to ask for help and seek advice on whether this upcoming purchase is authentic or not. The seller is offering this for $1000US not including shipping. May have been lightly used. It is python pattern embossed onto leather, and she promises that it's authentic or I can have a refund and send the bag back.

Also, do Fendi boutiques do free authenticity checks for you if one brings in a bag for them to check?? Please help, I won't be able to secure one from the boutiques, and am thinking of purchasing it from the lady.

Sorry, it is DEFINITELY a fake. Fendi did not make any spy bags out of python embossed leather -- only real python, or real lambskin, or zucca print. And the FENDI boutiques will not provide authenticity checks, free or otherwise. Please don't waste your money on this fake, and lying seller!

I handled my first Spy. At Neimans I went in and was just browsing and I saw a black leather one. It is so much wierder in real life, I was considering it but it was wierd in that whole how is Michael Jackson white way. I did like the huge size, I could fit my dog in there...(dont give Jessica ideas)

Look through the old posts or look under the Nicole Richie candids. There's lots of pictures of her using her spy on her shoulder. If you are as petite as her, those pictures should help.

leshent on ebay sells authentic spys... and everything else. other than that, i think you named all the sites. styledrops.com has photos of authentic spies, but I don't know if anyone's bought from them and can confirm they're real - they definitely have fake balenciagas, though, so who knows.

Yes, it's a fake. I saw the Spy bags catalogue when I was at the Fendi boutique last week. There is only real croc or python. No embossed leather. It's a worthless fake, stay away!!!

Thanks Guessgirl yes, i would strongly encourage you to see it in person before you buy. I actually saw 3 dk brown Spies & compared them side-by-side before settling on this one!
