hey kare, i heard from another SA that the petrol came in 3 seperate shipments of 4 each. so i guess yours shouldn't be any of the defectives. it's just that i'm unlucky! apparently they all didn't know what will come each shipment. sucks. i saw the petrol one today and i'm IN LOVE. think i'll order it but i'll have to wait 4 months. so IN CASE you don't want yours, i want! haha.

yar i was at the nac store. and no i don't think there were any defects, but i only looked at the colour, so cannot be sure. but since they said they brought in 12 instead of the 4 which my isetan SA told me, yours should be fine!

The SAs here are not so well informed. One moment they are telling you this and another they are telling you another. I was asking about a metallic mini chef and they told me that they don't know any...... Think I'll have to print out a colored photo to show them......

my spy survived Katrina

I'm back home after evacuating from Katrina. My house had minimal flood damage. I was concerned about my whole house but I kept thinking thinking my Fendi Spy had been washed away. I had my Paddington with me.

I had my spy in my closet on the floor and some moisture went through the dust bag and got the cards wet. Other than that, my spy looks fine.

I know I'm bag obsessed when the thing I was most concerned about in my house was my Spy.

Price for medium Fendi Spy

Hi, i am located in canada and had just put myself on the waiting list for the Fendi Spy Bag at Holt Renfrew here. The SA told me it is $3000 CAD + tax = $3450 cad which is equivalent to approx. $2,851 USD. Can anybody tell me if it is a reasonable price? thanks in advance

the USD retail price for the plain (no sequins) leather spy is $1980. That's what I paid at Barneys the other day.

The current price at US fendi boutiques for medium sized leather spys is $2080.

Hi ladies! Can someone give me a quick rundown on what to look for when buying on ebay? If the seller has papers does that mean it's authentic? Thanks for any help!

papers alone don't mean anything since they can be faked. I suggest you scroll through the "is this fake/authentic" thread to see discussions about spys on eBay. in a nutshell though, beware of bags that are too cheap, have a yellow fendi tag hanging from the handle and are too smooth.

Can anyone vouch that leshent on ebay is a seller that sells authentic fendi spy bags??? I'm aching to get my hands on one without the waiting list wait.... and I'm not sure if it's authentic, ...... or if the seller is trustable

Yes, Leshent does sell authentic merchandise. I know quite a few people who have purchased balenciaga's from him. I don't know where he gets his bags.....but they are beautiful!!!!
