i think it kind of "sets the mood" for the rest of the show... the first girl walks out there to leave the impression/feeling for the rest of the girls to follow. Same goes for the girl that closes the show, its that last look to catch what the designer wanted you to see.

you said it Sweets! but why do they usually use the top models to open/close their collection. front row fashionistas and even backrow seaters are there for the clothes not the models. or arent they? i myself when i watch shows on tv(im not one of the privileged to be present in any of these shows:( ) find it bland and boring when i dont know the girl who goes out first. might as well change the channel. anyhow hope to see new faces to sweep this seasons shows.;)
 
i really like it when natasha poly opens shows. when she opened ungaro (i forgot the season probably f/w04 or s/s05 when valli was still the designer) it was just absolutely breathtaking. she was so into it. the music, the dress, the whole vibe. it was just spectacular. i can still remember it until now as one of the best openers. she was really crossing her legs to the max. i hope to see more of natasha opening more shows.:flower:
 
i also like gemma ward. i mean lets face it. she is a great model. she is one of a kind. she is stunning, statuesque, and elegant. and she doesnt have a model attitude which in a way cuts both ways. i mean, i like that she seems innocent and naive and all but i hope she sheds some of that innocence when she does model work. like runway. she comes out and she seems all harmless and nice instead of fierce as what everyones been phrasing lately. i want to see more passion from her, more seduction, more sensuality. so that i will be convinced that she really is that person wearing that particular dress or clothes. thats what a model is all about. right. nevertheless she is one of a kind:flower:
 
wht abt euguenia v. i love her. why isnt she given more shows to open. she shud open more shows. dont u think guys? she walks nice too.

i remember that as well mdm elle. the one where most of the skirts were really wide and thick and ruffled. where missy rayder closed and she just took off part of whats underneath her skirt, the part thats making the whole thing thick. yeah ur ryt natasha was amazing in that show. she showed all how to walk the walk.
 
Wow, Gemma sure does open a lot of shows!

It's great to see Eugenia open a show as she is my favourite model out there
