I have a question one of the arms of my Dolce & Gabbana/ D&G eyeglasses broke at the hinge the loop that the screw goes through broke off and I tried going to lenscrafters (that is who I got them from) to get them fixed and they said they could not do the repair and they could get me new frames for half price plus lenses but I think that is absurd. I did a quicky repair but I want to get them fixed I lost the little loop that the screw goes through but still have the arm. Please help me I cant use a cheap non matching drugstore eyeglasses arm much longer.

isn't it possible to buy a new D&G earpiece for the side?

Elise 1986 I asked and they said no at lenscrafters maybe I should ask at other glasses places

might be advisable ask at other glasses places, cause usually they want to make profit ;)
i once ordered new earpieces for Rayban sunglasses and didn't pay much for them. ok they weren't rotten, just wanted to another colour ... nevertheless it wasn't a problem

however it depends on the model. if it's a new one it shouldn't be a prob., if it's an old one they might have stopped the production. and "old" in this case means 1 year

oh, before i forget. is that a vogue t-shirt you're wearing? cause it is, i've the same ;)

Aside from Frames Direct, where else can you order legit designer glasses online? I just want a bigger selection.

I dont see much silver or gold metal wire-rimmed glasses after perusing this thread. I wonder why? Do you look "older" or more "formal" or is it hard to match them with clothes or certain face shapes?

My old frames broke for good two nights ago...

But I bought these new ones off Etsy!

Very similar to my old ones but rounder and much lighter. I think they fit my face way better as well. I just need to get my prescription put in and have them fitted to my face. Right now they make my eyes look funny... the right lens is clear while the left lens has a really strong prescription, hahaha.

i guess a lot of people here don't need to wear glasses. they wear models with plastic lenses cause they're fashionable (and this isn't meant to be rude)
but if you really need glasses it's better to choose something not too fashionable that suits your face, cause you almost wear em every day. and a good pair of high quality lenses is very expensive. i wouldn't choose a pair of glasses that are too extravagant, cause i can't switch every half a year when i'm getting sick of em

It's always such a fuss to find prober eyeglasses for my face. Especially if you have such a tiny nose like mine.

I received my new eyeglasses by Gucci. This is the very first time that I ever purchased eyeglasses by designer. So far I'm pretty happy with my choice and hopefully they will last for a couple of years.

Sunglasses are the easiest thing to make one look 'fashion-forward' and style relevant.

Look at every supposed stylish person: Audrey, Mary Kate-Ashley, Victoria, Kanye, Anna, Karl, Tom, me... Always oversized sunglasses... in-doors-outdoors. lol.

mine broke this morning
and now i'm partially blind! i'm wearing my old ugly glasses yuck! but i'm going shopping for new ones tomorrow! :D any suggestions?

I wear contacts for the most part but usually when I'm home or if I'm only going to the grocery store, I would opt to wear my glasses. I just bought this pair of Chanel frames and am eagerly awaiting for it to arrive.

I am also considering getting this pair of Marc by Marc Jacobs
